It def is. They have a hour of previewing the auction before the auction starts. You actually have time to look things up and don’t have to worry about someone buying it.

There are two local consignment auctions in my small town. One has an auction every other Saturday. The other is about 10 auctions per year. I make great finds at both and make tons of profit from what I get at both auctions! Love them!

I love the auctions- in Pittsburgh that’s how I get most all my stuff- it’s more than 70% online now days which is fine by me as long as the pics are good otherwise u can view on set days if u want. Nice grabs - golden age comics are where it’s at now days IMO.

The Archie comics #30 in the box with the Planet comic would also be a few hundred bucks in good condition, and it looked to be in very nice midgrade. You got a steal on that lot.

@@pickingandpunching if you're not deep into comics I would see if you can have someone assess their grade before getting them graded. If they can confirm a rough grade range and pull comps off a tool called GPA Analysis you can see if the delta in sell price is worth the pressing and grading fees. Luckily low number Archies and last issues are very collectable, so even solid mid-grade would likely be worth grading monetarily.

@@sfq7675 If you go back to the beginning of our channel all we did was buy comic book mystery boxes and get comic books graded. We have a ton of experience with it. I just need to asset them better to determine if it’s worth it or not.

@@pickingandpunching Yes, but you stop when you are done bidding. Which is why when you bid again on that one comic, the other person stopped as you threw them off. They know if you are bouncing you are in the game and when you stop, you are done. It's a tell no diff than poker.
