My significant other struggled with getting gassed, then he went full carnivore with high protein high fat, and now he never gets gassed. He eliminated all carbs/sugars from diet. So now before he plays a tournament, he’ll eat like a lb of grass fed ground beef, lots of butter, 5 eggs, and be good for the entire day. Maybe this can help you prep for a tourney, like no toast/bread/sandwiches? And for reference, he’s 6’2/6’3 and built athletic like you as well, just older. I wish you good luck in your future tournaments!
