Glad you tested it to the extreme. However it doesn't take much pressure with these erasers. However I've got a buddy who goes at it pretty hard, like he's trying to erase his browser history before his wife grabs his laptop.

I have forza that’s over 4 months old. That has a lot of play and used the eraser religiously on. When I was doing paddle inspection at an app tournament last month. I had my paddle tested and compared with a new forza of mine. The numbers were damn near identical.

you should try again, but with a dirty paddle... then we could see the real-world effect of loosening and rubbing dirt/debris into the face of our paddles

So are you saying these erasers are a bad thing or good thing for our paddles?

Awesome video Chris thanks! I've been wondering about that myself for a while. I've been letting my paddle get pretty dirty in between cleanings because I was worried about smoothing out the face prematurely. Now I know better:)

Does the yellow one work just as well? They are made for woodworkers (to open up the grit on sandpaper) and are 1/4th the price.

Do you think these erasers are fine to use on 100% aramid (Kevlar) fiber faced paddles as well? I'm finding that the 100% aramid fiber faced paddles seem to collect even more debris quicker than carbon fiber. Has anyone else had similar findings?
@artcervantes98426 ай бұрын
I will occasionally use one on my paddle, but it only takes about 20 seconds each side, and I'm not rubbing hard. It'll clean up any scuff marks it may have accumulated over time.

What would you recommend to clean paint grit?
@MichaelPickleball Жыл бұрын
After months of owning raw carbon fiber paddles, the erasers eventually stop working as the plastic ball buildup embeds into the fibers. Based on the paddles I did this with the paddles start to get excessive buildup after about 3-4 months that the eraser does not remove. The spin and pop degrade on the paddles at that point.

Thanks I always wondered about this. Also, they never tell you how to clean it. I just been rinsing it off with water. I guess that's how you clean the eraser.

Does a dirty paddle have reduced spin?
@golfmaniac007 Жыл бұрын
logic would say so
@lobstercrostini Жыл бұрын
A clean paddle produces more spin than a dirty paddle. The eraser def cleans better than your hand or a towel, but who knows if the difference in cleanliness affects the spin that much

Umm of course something softer than the paddle face material is not going to damage it. The ball hitting it thousands of time though with pebble debris smashing into it, yes. Rub til your heart’s desire.
