Hey My Spices! Here is another one of my dad’s recipes. He was from Alabama, and he would pickle almost everything (LOL). I hope you try it and enjoy it! These pickled green tomatoes are better than a pickle any given day. I hate ripped tomatoes, but these pickled green tomatoes are everything!

Pickled Green Tomatoes
5 to 6 Firm Green Tomatoes sliced
1 tbsp salt (salt to taste)
4 cups of water
½ cup of distilled vinegar
1 ½ tsp of black pepper
4 garlic cloves, minced
Refrigerate for 3 to 4 days or until the tomatoes become transparent. The longer the better.
