I think my daughter would like something like that pineapple. Thanks for sharing

I bet that pineapple would be really good blended up and used to glaze a ham.

i just canned some ginger pineapple tea concentrate .. i also put cloves in it but i only use about 5-6 cloves, i used 3 fresh pineapples .. i used ALOT of ginger and it did take over but i really like the strong ginger flavor, however next time i will use less ginger lol, i would like to taste more of the pineapple .. i want to try your pickles though, they sound delish .. thank you for sharing with us ... mmm i wonder what it would be like with a few crushed red peppers flakes lol .. oh my .. you now have my mind coming up with all kinds of spin offs .. lol

Red pepper flakes! Yes! That is genius!

Yum, spiced pineapple sounds so good. To get the cinnamon flavor you could use red hots in your jars to create a kind of tequila sunrise look

Awww, too bad it did not turn out as you hoped. I'm thinking that taking the cloves OUT before processing might have helped. Those little suckers are darn powerful. There are some good suggestions in the comments for how to use this batch, so maybe it just wasn't meant to be a snack this time around. I try to make micro-batches when first testing a recipe (especially if I am playing around with different spices, which is most of the time). Overall, this seems like a great idea with lots of potential. I am going to watch for sales on pineapple now, lol. Thanks for sharing! 🍍😃

9:01 I am wondering could you use citric acid instead of vinegar?
@hamakuahomestead774110 ай бұрын
In certain situations, like salsa or canning tomatoes, you can. However, this would not be pickled if you were to make that change.

I’m sorry you don’t like it. It sounds really good to me. Tweek it to your liking. That’s the fun of cooking and canning.

Well, that was disappointing for you. They look delicious! What about a pineapple bread? That would help tame the clove taste.

Also if your dogs are eating cat excrement or their own pineapple will give them the missing nutrients they need to stop them from doing that.
