Pico Del Teidi. Ascent of Tenerife's highest peak. Peak 2 of our European Challenge.

After a rainy start to our challenge in Ireland, we were ready for some sunshine. The summit of Teidi was relatively straight forward to obtain but the sun and altitude meant for a tough a ascent of 1700 metres to the summit cone at 3718 metres. One that will live long in the memory. Our next peak in the challenge takes us to France in May.
