Hi, on our website we give a little more information on what we think are Required Tools and what are just Helpful (makers-manual.com/shop/geometric-picture-frame). But the great thing about woodworking, is there is always another way of doing something, if you are missing a tool, then I sure you'll be able to think up another way. The only thing to be careful of however, is to get your cuts accurate if you want nice clean joints. This is of course easier with certain tools, but possible to achieve in many ways.
