This song reminded me of my ex when I first heard it. He always had a picture of us together in the visor of his truck. It's still there now, along with my senior picture next to his speedometer. We never stopped loving each other. After 3 years of being out of each others lives we have gotten back together and celebrating an anniversary soon. We're expecting our first child in a few months.

My best friend just got his orders last month. He will be in Afghanistan in less than a year. A few months back how in love with each other we were and how our future was going to play out. Now he is having second thoughts on being in the military, he says the only way to get through it is alone. He will have a one year old son by the end of the months which he thought he was doing this all for, and now has to watch him grow on a computer screen. I messed up the day before he left.
