Sorry to ask, dont want to waste your time. But im looking into a power wagon. Is it stock or what upgrades would i need to be abke to do what you have been doing? Is a power wagon good for off road as well as on occasion towing or hauling? I have a 07 ram laramie 1500 4x4 1500 mega cab. I love the cab room for family, and that i can tow and haul on occasion for family vacation/ trips or towing the derby car. I would like to have a off road vehicle or trails and such. Was thinking jeep, but then thinking power wagon could do both. Replace my truck now and be a " jeep" What are your thoughts on this? Thank you!!

@@dakotahensen5759 my truck has very few mods and most were for the rocks, boulders and ledges of Western Colorado and Utah…depending on how you wheel you may not need all the mods. The PW is built very stout and performs well in stock form. Currently: Stock suspension 37” tires (I ran the stock rims until recently, they rubbed at full lock around town but worked great on the trails). -High clearance bumpers (needed for the rocks and ledges around here -Rock sliders (frame mounted) -Differential protection (guard up front and a nodular iron diff cover in the back -hitch mounted slider plugs into the receiver -cut and removed the tailpipe and resonator and used a 90 degree turn down off the stock muffler (for better departure angle. Hope this helps. Relatively few mods for what she’s wheeled!

@@dakotahensen5759 and yes you can town and haul with it though just know that because of the soft springs, etc the tow and cargo capacities are low for a 3/4 ton. Some people use airbags with Daystar cradles to help.

As another variant look at the Power Wagon, you can check out my build as well in the origins playlist if interested on my channel. Don’t tow anything with my truck, but it can. When I added the suspension change I used Carli R2 coils in the rear which gives it more weight capacity.

@redbeastadventures does adding those for more weight capacity take away anything from the off road capacity? I'd like to be able to have it do both be the off road king it is but also tow and haul like a 2500 as much as possible. Thanks
