That’s been heavily debunked. 2 110 story towers each equaling a ≈2.3 on the Richter scale collapsed immediately next to said building. As well fires had been raging in the lower levels for HOURS (plastic, carpet, paper, and wood) all burning strong enough to significantly weaken hardened steel (not melt, weaken. Same thing that happened in WTC 1&2.) with several dozen floors of weight above said weakened metal. Only ignorance keeps the building 7 conspiracy alive.

If you know anyone in the military, they'll use the word "bro" or "dude" just as much. Here, it's being used as a well-known tactic to establish a rapport between interrogator and prisoner.

Sounds fine in theory, but the reality is innocent people get caught up in the mix and inevitably innocent people get tortured, it's also fairly counterproductive because if you hurt someone enough they'll tell you anything and most of the info gained is useless...and by the way if Chaney, Rumsfeld and Bush were any other nationality other than American they'd be sought after for war crimes, they've killed hundreds of thousands and for nothing.

@@BladedBear No, he's right. There are tonnes of books related to torturing, written by torturers, victims, soldiers, "ex-special servicemen." I used to read those as a teenager, and some of them sent chills to my spine. Waterboarding sounds like a walk in the park compared to others, and I don't think black site torturers would lose time with these techniques. The enemy knows that they're trying to break him, and the enemy is extremely motivated. Why step on the break when you gone already too far? Humans are capable of becoming the cruelest when they want to be so.

One of the interesting parts of this is that he uses the term that he has been watching him for a long time. It is the same thing the new recruit uses with the finance later in the movie. At first, I thought it was a flaw in the script that no one saw, but what I realized was that they were demonstrating how well she had learned the techniques that her trainer had taught her.

"I have time and you dont" implies he is relaxed, and doesn't care about him either way. "I have other things to do, you dont" Is directly referring to the war. He is telling the captive that he is going to capture his co-conspirators to do the same thing to them, and that their actions have ceased permanently. I'd imagine this would make the prisoner start to think things like "they're probably going to kill me if someone tells before I do" Also remember, he is speaking to someone who's first language is not english. Need to be crystal clear

Usually misinformation. People being tortured will say anything to get it to stop, including making things up. Plus torturing people doesn't exactly make them want to help you, so more often than not they would give false information even if they knew the real answers.
