Piedmont bagna cauda | Vegan fondue

Bagna cauda is a fondue that includes salted sardines, olive oil and garlic.
In the most modern version, garlic is dipped in milk for a milder flavor.
To make this recipe vegan, you can replace sardines or anchovies with algae of your choice; you can also replace water with plant milk.
It’s a convivial dish and this sauce should be placed in the middle of the table still very hot.
Bagna cauda has been passed down through generations in Italy.
Ingredients:
Olive oil - ½ cup
Garlic - ± 2 heads
Algae of choice

Sono di origini piemontesi e ho sempre preparato la bagna cauda a Natale, molto richiesta. Da quando sono vegana non la faccio più, ma proverò con la lattuga di mare!!! Io la preparo facendo bollire l'aglio nel latte e poi, quando è bello morbido, si schiaccia e si aggiunge l'olio e le acciughe. Questa è la ricetta di Asti. Davvero una bellissima idea di veganizzare la bagna cauda, grazie e complimenti!!!
