Just watched 'Tomorrow Never Dies' - Pierce really is a fantastic 007: The physical prowess of Sean Connery, Fighting abilities of George Lazenby, Suaveness of Roger Moore and seriousness of Timothy Dalton. SO much better than the bland Daniel Craig - come back Pierce - 007 needs you!

thing is there is a difference between the Fleming Bond and the movie Bond. the movie Bond was doing fine until Casino Royale whereas the Fleming Bond made a return in Casino Royale. so theres kinda a spectrum when it comes to the character but I would have to say I'm a bigger fan of the films than I am the novels

getting a little touchy aren't we? let's be fair and not take shots at people's intelligence over such a minor topic. I will agree with you that Connery was the best Bond and they really haven't been quite as good since he left. but I love the Bond series in general, no matter how he is portrayed. I think my biggest problem with the new films is I'm not a fan of reboots/remakes for many reasons.

I know nothing about Bond? I'm insulted! if people who know me well heard you say that they would laugh. of course they didn't play the role the same. that's usually the case in any recasting. the point I was making was the fact that each Bond had the same basic qualities like the dry humor and puns, the gadgets, everything that brought that character to life. the current visualization of Bond lacks some of the qualities that made people love the original films.

Pierce should of NEVER been replaced by the vastly inferior Daniel Craig - Brosnan defined Bond in the best possible way as did his predessessors - Casino Royale and Quantum of solace were not worthy to be called Bond films. They would of been with Mr Brosnan in them with a different variation.

I love Brosnan, Connery and Moore...when I see 2 or 3 Brosnan's Bond movies in a while, I think "he is the best Bond"...but the same thing happen to me with Moore and Connery 007 movies. By the way, I hate Craig as Bond. Craig, get out of the role!!!
