I actually believe he was the perfect Bond. Granted, his films weren't always the best but that's a lot to do with writing and directing. I think he acted perfectly and did the best he could. He had the perfect level of action to suave, charisma and looks. I feel in terms of a fitting Bond, they didn't do as well with Daniel Craig at all, but the money and popularity was there with Craig and that's what made him far more successful. Pierce Brosnan will always hold a special place in my heart as Bond

So suave, sophisticated etc. The closest to the novels would be Timothy Dalton, but he wasn't as well received because he also went against what Bond had been introduced as with Sean Connery. Because I saw the films first, my take on Bond wasn't what the novels had intended. Brosnan was the closest to Connery.

Bob Hope for instance famously was one of the worst talk show guests ever. A man who had done it all and never had a thing to say about.

I wish I had the same experience that you had. I met him back in 2009 coming from London back to LA. We were one the same double decker airplane flight. Once we we landed to get out bags, i noticed he was there waiting and I was in shock. I was shy to approach him and didn't want to bother him, but when will i ever see Jame Bond again? So i kindly asked him, " Would you mind if I can please take a picture with you Mr. Bronson?" Bronson looked down and up at me and rudely responded, "YES, I DO MIND!" I responded, "I am sorry that I bothered you." Then I walked away.

I think all of the actors whom played Bond did a fine job. Although, I must say I felt that Moore stayed on for a couple too many. But, he started off well. I still choose Connery as my number one, but they were all worthwhile. Imho. I wish that Lazenby and Dalton had done a few more. And, while I liked, Brosnan, he didn't get the best Bond scripts. So, a credit to his ability to even make them work, at all.
