For next time, or anyone wanting to do their own, you have to be super quick putting the earring in after taking out the needle. I really recommend ordering piercing needles they have a hole on both sides so it’s way easier. ALSO! Rubbing alcohol will cause ur ear to bleed more. Only sterilise before piercing. And no ice! Have fun

@ellabottimore83147 ай бұрын
@@hejdbrudbfjrbdudbddkj you gotta commit and push a hollow needle through. try going for a 16 gauge or smaller if its still not working. You can also go to a pro or someone you trust to quickly push it all the way through if you cant :)

Fun little fact for anyone who’s thinking of piercing their own ears. Most earrings are 16g which is why most piercers use 14g. The safety pin probably had a smaller diameter than the earrings

I also had the 4 piercings in my ears with a bandana and it didn't hurt at all, except that I left the bandana for 3 days where I had pierced it so that the hole would grow. And being able to put on an earring afterwards without causing any damage to my ears requires attention.

I'm also surprised that no blood came out, I had a bunch of gauze ready just in case but not even a drop came out! Im going to do the other ear in a couple of days so hopefully it goes smoothly 🙏 To anyone else trying this at home too, I hope it all goes nice and smooth!! 🤍

@psyreniti49024 күн бұрын
Please take this into consideration for your next piercing, order actual piercing needles. You can get them for a dime a dozen. There is no reason to use anything from a sewing kit 😢 A piercing needle is hollow and angled and you will regret ever using anything else. Not a gun either, a piercing needle! Editing to add- The earring obviously won't fit, you used a safety pin. I'll admit i did the same thing in the 90s when i was 10 years old. Even if you take a PIERCING needle out, good luck getting the earring in. With a piercing needle you can just slip the earring in the hollow part and nothing ever comes out. I hope you know this all by now though. DO NOT DO A CONCH WITH A SAFETY PIN and get a clamp to do it WITH A PIERCING NEEDLE 😂I did both my own conch's and many other so please trust what I'm saying as someone who does my own. Get 16g needles, a taper for 16g jewelry and a clamp. You dont actually need a size higher needle, you can use the same size as long as you have the taper. Clean with sterile saline for the year of healing and do not change jewelry except to downsize. Use 16g titanium internal labret style jewelry. Its the best for healing... and just the best. 16g is recommended size. And the tops are interchangeable. So if you have a 8mm bar and need downsized to 6, you can use the same top.

That’s why you should go to a professional because they know what they are doing and they go through training and get certified and use a brand new needle every time. I highly recommend not doing it this way. My daughter was influenced by these bad influences and she’s hurt. Great 👍🏽 . Mad Mom moment. I’m only watching this to tell the doctor what she did.

You said don’t do this at home kids, knowing there’s literally kids watching this and my daughter did her own thinking she’s a “trained professional” and now her ear is getting infected. This is just not smart. There are actually trained professionals who do this and those are the only people who should be doing it. Do non smart things on your own without filming it.
