Thank you, we understand the dilemma (its one that I am continually battling in my own garden.... all the time). But believe it or not, its one that we are trying to help you (and other viewers) with! You see, we like to think that because we are continually evaluating and trialing and refining the list of selections that we are offering in our plant line up, we are actually making in easier for you (and everyone else) to make your choices! Its a process that we are working on all the time (and at times involves some tough decisions), but overall the objective is to be able to make available the very best forms that in our experience work well in our region. The problem is of course, that there's lots of really GREAT plants out there and if you are like me - you'll want to grow and enjoy them all! That's the beauty of You Tube, websites and premier garden centers! Because through them, we get to show, and tell you about them! So that then when you come across the ones that pique your interest, you can research further and then actually visit and see them in the garden centers! That still doesn't relieve the problem of running out of space, time and energy (because there's never enough), but hopefully it helps a little bit! I suppose at the end of the day, we can always call a realtor and look for a bigger garden!!!! Thanks again for you kind comment. David

As you may have noticed in the title and in the descriptive text. It is also known by the Cultivar name Pieris japonica 'Passion' and protected here in the US with the plant Patent PP19,319. Quite often plants are marketed under a Trade Marked (TM) name and this can vary from country to country. The above Cultivar name is universal and listed under the guidance of The International Code of Nomenclature for Cultivated Plants (ICNCP), so if you are searching for it in Australia (or anywhere else), this would be the name we suggest you would use. Sometimes, it takes a while for plants to become known about, and then tested and trialed internationally. Keeping in touch with the experts at leading your local gardens, is a good way to check on their availability and even alert them to selections that you might be interested in.

Love this new variety you've showcased. I have the Interstellar from PW and it's doing great! Sadly the rabbits ate the tops of them in late winter so had no blooms to enjoy :(
