That's what people do upon seeing an infant - if it has a penis, it's male, if it has a vagina, it's female. Of course there are marginal exceptions but generally, sex is almost completely binary.

Yes exactly PLUS the comparison between trans and deaf is a totally stupid argument based on a false equivalence. There’s no option to chose if one is deaf or not and a hearing person may be able to imitate a deaf person but a deaf person can never imitate a hearing person. Plus it’s not a feeling or an internal concept. It’s a fundamental difference in how they experience the physical reality of the world the deaf person lives in and how the world interacts with them.

People who claim they are neither female or male want to use “they” as a pronoun, because it’s neither feminine or masculine. It’s a red herring to claim that “they” can only be used when referring to the plural. “They” has been used to refer to the singular for a very long time. Often instead of using s/he. The real issue is - how to you work out you’re not female or male? It can surely only be done by seeing whether you like things ascribed to women, or men. Yet, we have known for a long time, that many women like doing things that were once thought manly, like earning a wage and voting, and many men enjoy doing things once thought feminine, like feeding, and changing babies.

Actually gender is derived from male and female sex and its connoted by social cultures which are inspired by the male and female sex( state of being). lets not confuse people here. I do not know this woman on here however out of all the different transgender/gender debaters I have heard, I do respect her bias viewpoint and commitment. She is dedicated to her choice to live a female lifestyle but NOT pushing others to say or conform to her ideology but simply trying to explain what is going on in this new age identity crisis and mediating things between us who learned and see only 2 genders and those who see almost a 100 genders. She just comes off as a great advocate for gender perceptions on both aisles of the street. In other words she does not frustrate me with her explanation of this VERY radical and ludacris situation! Bravo ma'am and yes I DO recognize people identity choice when they ask and demonstrate themselves as a lady but not those who try and force me too while acting like.....a female dog🤨😅 so my lady I thank you for helping me see I was born in a different time when we kept things simpler but this new generation will have more modern take on thongs just like my generation was open to biracial relationships my parents were thrown off by and would never try because the 50s was not open to mixed relationships so I say fair enough🤷🏾‍♂. German has three pronouns die, dur and das; die is female, dur is male and das is neutral. So it’s not unusual at all when you look at other languages as well. There’s no reason to have a fit over it. How many times have you met transgender people and it’s been an issue? Since less than half a percentage of people are transgender. Gay guys call each other girl when they’re not transgender at all. Remember when Bad meant good? Language evolves like everything else. My primary language is English but I can also speak Spanish and am a beginner at learning German. It’s fun and it broadens your brain capacity
