I'm afraid that I don't except Piers merely saying, that he believed the scientists and based his remarks on this. Which scientists? Celebrities, should not presume to comment on subjects, of which they are 100% ignorant, especially when they are to do with health aspects. People are swayed by the comments of such people. Piers is of course, not alone. I have been shocked and dismayed, not to mention extremely concerned, by the amount of medical doctors who also swallowed the incorrect misinformation, put out by the mainstream narrative. Piers, however, is supposed to be a journalist. Obviously, not a very good one. It doesn't take much research, coupled with common sense, to know that it is wise, to listen to well known, world renowned expert's, with excellent qualifications and years of experience in the field. It is also likely, that if these previously respected and much used sources, have suddenly fallen out of favour, by the bodies that previously eminated them, because they didn't agree with the treatments and lockdowns, it's also likely, that something untoward is going on. Many celebrities, have been only too quick, to vilify the people, who, for what ever reason didn't want to be jabbed. Perhaps they were cognisant, of the fact, that the treatment offered was a leaky prophylactic and not a vaccine and could never do what it was claimed to do. Perhaps they also had the common sense to realise, that if someone has had this jab and it worked, what possible reason would there be for someone else to have the same jab, to protect them. If it doesn't work for the person who has taken it, how can someone else taking it, possibly help. It's absolutely ridiculous, if you just spend some time thinking about it for yourself. I hope that it has helped people to see, that you should never just accept anything that you are told to do for your supposed well being, without thoroughly investigating the subject for yourself. A celebrity doesn't need to have brains and even many doctors these days, don't seem to be capable of critical thinking, other than what is proposed by drugs companies. Incidentally, if you want to know about Pfizer's reputation, investigate how often they have been sued for misrepresentation of their drugs, with serious consequences.

I do not feel that the world is doing the correct thing for those people who were rejected, jailed, hit... This kind of apologies are not real apologies, but just a rectification without caring about what the other party passed through : "yeah we were wrong but we were having our 'own' reasons too"... Nobody talks on how the social and economical pressure affected the ones that today were right. Researchers and medical staffs that wanted to give their opinion were shut down. There were people who lost their job, and they had to figure out on how to 'live' in a pandemic restricted world without money, without friends and family support. Other for the same pressure, accepted what they didn't believe. Injured person cases were banned, and nobody was able to know because they were silenced... For real apologies, actions must be seen and changes have to happen: on the system? on the organization? on the media? ... and what abbout those that lost their diplomas and jobs? not only a restitution must happen but an public apology and a HUGE compensation. And still question on who to compensate the most intangible affected ones, the rejected ones, that couldn't go out from their home, jailed, that couldn't see their relatives.... time lost, moments lost... and the world become normal from one day to the other.

So after the battle that they both entered and if this was them once the dust settled - I’d say piers came out with a closer view of reality And TOPG who I admire - didn’t get as close. Because Covid is worse than the common cold - And if TOPG was just hyperbole antagonistic in his description then in that moment then ok! But ! When he acknowledged the platform and it’s reality shaping power through narratives he would need to concede to the fact that his choice of words then are world shaping and so he needs to be very particular in his nouns to not reshape reality for those listening in any incorrect direction.
