Piers Morgan is joined for an exclusive interview by Virginia Giuffre's lawyer and Chairman of Boies Schiller Flexner LLP David Boies to discuss Prince Andrew's settlement with his high-profile client just over a year ago.
David believes that Prince Andrew couldn't have afforded to go to trial as the evidence was too strong against him and believes that his interview with the BBC's Emily Maitlis and other comments made by his advisers would have made his case more difficult. He also points out that the photograph of Virginia with the Duke and Ghislaine Maxwell weakens Andrew's suggestion that the pair ever met.

Andrew was forced to settle because of the pressure on the Royal Family and especially the great Queen in the final year of her life. When Piers asked her lawyer if he had any doubt if Andrew was guilty and he responded unless you were there witnessing it or there was video tape there was no way of knowing his guilt. A photograph with her was their strongest evidence. He denied meeting her. Should he remember every single photograph he had in his life of every young woman, I would be surprised if he did. There is a reasonable chance that if this case had gone to trial, that Virginia may have lost. Based on the well seen photo, she didn’t look like she was a victim and being forced to do anything. She wasn’t bruised, swollen, she didn’t look like she had been crying and she was clean and dressed appropriately. None of us know all the evidence presented to back up her claims, but there just may have been enough questions to warrant reasonable doubt.

Her credibility should be held in question, she has changed her story, she recruited for Epstein, if you were abused, you would want that person to be put in prison, but she took Andrew to civil court which results in money settlement only, so she wanted money, which says to me, no credibility.

What a basic way of looking at it. Do you not understand what teenage sex grooming is ? Coersion, manipulation, control, threats, violence, etc Epstein was a dangerous, unhinged abuser and grown men have claimed to fear him. Have you not taken the the time to watch the interviews by the other victims of sex offenders Jeffrey Epstein & Ghislaine Maxwell.
