Actually the idea started off as a documentary. They wanted to try to get men to pretend to be trans and get into a woman's sports team to "show what a farce it is" found out it isn't that simple to do and the process takes several years and a lot of medical processes. So instead they took the idea they found out was an idiotic joke and wrote the same script they were planning on using for the doc hired their own people and relabeled it a "comedy" because right wing comedy is always bottom of the barrel and low hanging fruit.

I used to work for a major US museum. A few years ago they hired a Black DEI Vice President, who told us explicitly that she was looking to hire Black women in leadership roles. One of her first acts was to dissolve the docent program (docents are unpaid volunteers who give tours to the public) because they were white and wealthy. The justification for firing them was that they could not relate to Blacks from deprived areas, ignoring the fact that it would actually benefit Blacks to have contact with another social stratum. There was a big scandal about it, with letters of protest written to the New York Times. Wokeness pervaded the education department, which would dumb down the well-written gallery texts. I remember I once used the word “exotic” in the draft of a gallery introduction to describe a particular historical fashion, and was told that it would have to be edited out “because someone had been offended by it.” Never mind the fact that there are many publications by art historians exploring the idea of the exotic, the education department decided that just because some random anonymous person had objected we had to censor ourselves. I was so glad to retire!

It's the same reason trans women do not want bathrooms just for them. they want to be accepted wholly as women, and separating them at all like that is offensive to them. i believe they tried to do this in swimming, have an "open" category to replace the mens category, where anyone can join, and then also have a biological womens category. i remember hearing there was a "no show" out of protest by the trans women. they just want to be in the womens spaces.

It is also hypocritical that in the Olympics, women are required to wear revealing uniforms whereas the men get to cover up Beach volleyball, Handball, Gymnastics, Track and Field. In handball, the women were fined for not letting the Olympic committee sexually violate them, by saying they needed to wear something that made them sexually aroused for men.

When I was training for my PPL as a disabled student (with a raft of autoimmune conditions that I still passed a fairly strict medical with) I heard that there was a blind guy who was training elsewhere with great results. He basically obviously had a pilot with him guiding him., but he was certainly capable of handling the plane as such. And in a modern high calibre jet with all its technology, I think a blind pilot might well succeed just as well as a sighted one. Whether they'd ever fly passengers is another thing entirely! OK - a caveat to the above is that I would agree a blind person probably shouldn't be flying a commercial jet as they have a million visual components required for safety etc but as I said - with assistance they can manage a light aircraft tho they'd never be allowed to go solo etc. A driver would know how to drive a car blindfolded but would obviously never do it - same difference!

@@ChazeGeyer Almost all mid-air collisions also take place during take-off or landing. That includes the worst air accident of all time, which actually took place during one take-off and one taxiing. It's called the Tenerife disaster, if you wanted to look into that. Almost 600 killed. If a pilot has time to make an announcement at 30,000 feet, he's got time to avoid the incident. 30,000 feet is statistically safer than you driving to work.

Actually not only did the Patriots hire a black head coach to replace Bellicheck, Jerod Mayo, but he was also the youngest coach in the NFL and probably the least experienced head coach hire in quite awhile. Then when Bellicheck, by far the most decorated coach of all time, interviewed with the Falcons they turned him down for another black coach, Raheem Morris. Who back when he got his first head coaching job with the Bucs back on 09 was the 4th youngest coach of the modern era and was almost certainly the least experienced head coach ever hired in the history of the NFL. So black coaches made out pretty well in this whole scenario.
