Tom Bower On Coronation 'Diversity' Qualms: "Don't Make It About Race!"

Piers Morgan Uncensored is joined by royal biographer Tom Bower, historian Tessa Dunlop and journalist Lynn Barber to discuss the King's coronation and how they think the public will react once the celebrations start.
Tom points out that King Charles is far less popular than Queen Elizabeth II was and the public in general are less bothered about the monarchy. Piers however suggests as much as that is true, the public and people worldwide love to watch our celebrations and believe that because this coronation is going to be three times bigger than the Platinum Jubilee, it will remind everyone of the good that comes with a monarchy.
Tessa then points out that she believes there has been a missed opportunity for the monarchy to show pride in their history and the Commonwealth and the diversity of the UK.

I think you will find that the Labor Party won the Federal Election and actually, has a majority in Government. Ergo,Albo does represent the majority of Australians whom, totally fed up with the last lot,voted them out in favour of the ALP. Interestingly, all the States but one now have Labor Governments as well. Albo may well be in favour of an Australian Republic on a personal level but is most certainly not pushing for a Referendum on that matter at this point in time. I disagree with Tessa on a HUGE level! As an American I think ceremonies, horses, tiaras, etc are AMAZING! Also, I feel like the Monarchy is a huge asset to the Commonwealth. I have traveled to England several times and love the ups and downs of the Monarchy. Yes the Commonwealth is a beautiful destination , but the Monarchy is a huge draw to people outside of your country. The Australian Prime Minister is incorrect there are many Australians that want to keep the King, future King or Queen as head of our state. Because the United Kingdom isn’t one country! Are you suggesting Scotland, Wales and North Ireland are not in the UK? Not to mention the 13 other realms that are British Overseas Territories? And how did they become that way? The Netherlands didn’t colonise and plunder half the world and make it their possession which is why it’s acceptable for an all-White Dutch Coronation (which they don’t have, by the way. They designate special days to even celebrate and embrace the people they dispossessed and took ownership of whose ancestors built their nation and contributed to their heritage, culture, food, history and relevance today.) Denmark didn’t have a single dependency, colony or slave trade, which is why their all-White monarchy is acceptable. Let me guess, you are from England, right? Don’t know that the UK is not one country. Shame!

Majority of historian figures are calm, composed and soft spoken. Tessa, the historian, is completely the opposite. While I respect and am all for differences of opinion, it is becoming harder and harder to watch/listen any shows where Tessa is invited as one other guest. She displays anger management issues, her observations and critical thinking scream H&M bias and therefore she continues to fail to achieve objectivity, in my opinion.
