Hmm! Interesting! I found the CD recording, but Generali didn't write an opera for Adelaide di Borgogna. Adelina exists! Where is the source to read about this? I can't find any data on this opera. Nice Overture, I have a question, but if I read right Rossini copied the Crescendo from Generali, and so should it be called ''Crescendo di Generali'', or the Crescendo di Generali and the ''Crescendo Rossiniano'' are different types?

it's the reverse. Generali copied from Rossini as everyone else at that time, because to have success they had to follow the style of the "master", at least t the beginning of their career, like Donizetti and Verdi too!

@@mikonatt you're welcome pal. anyway even Rossini copied and improved the musics of previous composers from the "school of Naples" like Cimarosa, Paisiello. Mozart, also, copied a lot from the Cimarosa style when he composed the marriage of Figaro, Don Giovanni and Così fan Tutte. If you hear Cimarosa's opera, it sounds very similar to the Mozart ones.
