Experienced something similar at a jamming session once. Pretty fuckin difficult to keep it goin. Pulled a muscle in my abdomen and slight damage to the vocal chord. JR is the man though and he pulled it off well.

Couragous but very stupid. Screaming is not about going as loud and pushing as much as you can. Unfortunatly many people have that misconception. He could seriously damage his vocal cords pushing that much. If done repeately he could even end up having to get operated for vocal damage.
