This year has been so hard for getting hair cuts! My hair has been frustrating me so I just went ahead and cut my own hair...sorry Bran Mondo!

Definitely going to try this for a fast haircut. I've been cutting mine for over thirty years, but usually do a curl by curl cut. I'll try this for a refresh now. I watched Mel's video too and probably will center my pigtails a little more to the front.

As a natural curly redhead, I often do not like some of the red hair dyes people use. Yours, though! I barely took note of the red near the ends while you were cutting, but when you came back with it dry, that color popped so coppery and fiery. Love how the cut came out, and I love the color!

I really enjoyed your vid! Love your sense of humor, and I share your approach to instructions being more of a suggestion to be followed (or not) according to my mood. My best cuts are usually the result of a spur of the moment, half-assed attitude, rather than overthinking it & being in a perfectionist mindset. Have done Mel's pigtail cut a couple of times, and it's the simplest way to get the weight off the top layers of hair.

I could be wrong I watched Mel's video a few days ago but I'm pretty sure that when she cuts the pigtails she cuts it straight out to the side unlike what you did which was pull them up. But I might be wrong. Your hair still turned out great regardless so... 😅
