I noticed that the barn roof looks like a cement--asbestos mix. Be careful especially in summer not to come into contact with any dust on surfaces inside the barn. To be on the safe side Check with the farmer. as the make up of the roof tiles. Some of my friends were employed building barns in the sixties. They would finish by adding the roofs, Cutting to length the end tiles and also the the rain water down pipe. Ten years ago Brian died and his mate Ray Is very poorly with Asbestosis Keep safe.

" I reckon you are correct, it used to be called, "Eternit", I lost mates due to cancer and we traced back to where they got it, the Dax Power Station did a shutdown early 1980's for refurbishment, my mates were working nights doing Radiographs while all the Welders, Fitters, Riggers, etc., were offsite but unbeknown to them, the management had a squad also working nights stripping out all the asbestos but no safety procedures, it was all cash in hand as well. 20 years later they developed cancers, one guy had to be flown home from a good job in South America he had so much pain. You have to be careful and expect the worst because if somebody can make money, they don't care what happens.

Personally, when cleaning up birds, I like a bit more grain in the shot rather than just the pellet. Takes them out quicker and cleaner.

Pigeon Shooting, I haven't done that in years but I did do my share! I used a shotgun as my practice was to shoot them only in flight, I always had a problem shooting them like they were just posing for it!

Have you used Rws superdome pellets? They seem very good quality compared to my AA diabolo 16grain. Many of them have bent skirts.

Good shooting and video work. As a once avid shooter in the USA I can appreciate your skill. A little more frequent commentary on things like range and your shot to kill ratio would not be unwelcome from me. Growing up we shot gophers with .22 caliber rifles at 50 to 100 yards and later prairie dogs with .223 caliber rifles at 150 to 350 yards. Great fun. Not sure how much we were able to control the population as they were very prolific. There certainly were way too many of them.

Great video new to your channel Saw this and watched it brought back some good memories for me as me and my dad used to clear ferals for farmers round us, did it for free for them. I wonder if people realise they spread TB? Then I wonder if people know that if a herd gets TB that all the herd has to be destroyed and the farmer loses there livelihood? Guess not? Ignore all the idiots who only see fields through their car windows and have no idea what rural life really is, not emmerdale or the archers! Keep up keeping them down!

Every year Mrs JP and I break our backs rotavating, digging, weeding and planting our veg plot. We garden organically which makes it even tougher. Every year pigeons and rabbits flood in from the adjoining farmland and woods, and would wipe out weeks of graft in one raid on our seedlings. So we shoot them, prep them, vac pack and freeze them....delicious cooked with the veg and herbs they originally came to steal😋🤤! The inedible bits go in the field for the red kites, foxes, badgers and hedgehogs to eat. LVC isn't doing it for fun, it's essential pest control....same goes for the squirrels. So, all those snowflakes whining about rabbit and pigeon shooting need to spend a backbreaking day gardening with us, then sit back and watch the raiders wipe out your hard work....not on our Weihrauchs watch👍☝️✌️!

Looking at the steel framework of that farm I come to the conclusion it is cheap and nasty . The coating is almost not existent, the nuts and bolts are corroded as well. Repair costs will be substantial !

How much do you get paid for your shooting? Is it paid by the head or by the day? Now mind you I'm in the U.S., so I can only take it as a reference point, but if you're willing to I'd appreciate knowing what to look for. I actually really want to get into doing this around my area. If we have the rat population we have, then others in the area have it too.

For each outing, do you keep a Death Count? Like, how many popped and how many retrieved? Eg, 14 popped, 12 retrieved, so 2 still on the roof or stuck in the rafters, etc.

Hia mate, Thanks for a great watch and shooting. I asked you a few weeks ago about your cocking lever on your S510. When you told me about it, I ordered one straight away and it arrived. I really really like it and just adds to my 510. I like looking over your kit, seeing what you like and use. I like your S510 gunstock and reminds me of an FX model I was looking at at Malmo Guns at Forton recently. I love the shaping around the pistol grip. Although I like it, I like my walnut one too. Its a tough decision to change and theyre a lot of money just to have the other leant in a cupboard through using another one. I wouldnt part with the one I wasnt using. Nevertheless, gorgeous.
