thank you so much. i didn’t do this inside but followed your steps with padding, i used 2 big bean bags. i eventually did it onto the bean bags and later on grass. it took about 3 hours but was so worth it. thank you so much.

I really need help. I had my round off back tuck, but one time I did it I fractured my foot and it took me a long time to recover. I’m better now, but I can only do it on trampoline, and now my gymnastics is closed, so it’s so hard for me to practice. I really wanna get my round off back tuck back, but I’m just so scared I’ll get injured again. 😞 😢

You wont get injured if you warm up first and just warming up make sure you are ready to catch yourself when bailing because if you don't you will get injured. One important thing is to learn your shoulder rolls and shoulder roll where you put your hands like a diamond shape and plant them down and roll over the meter part of the shoulder and turn your looking to the opposite shoulder and then when rolling you should tuck the legs to spin faster and land with one leg bent and other leg in front of the other to stand faster from the roll. Then you start doing dive shoulder rolls as well and get with bailing into a roll and always timing the bodies movements. If you can try the round off to backflip with a mattress that will be a good start then you can slowly get constient with it and then do it with no padding. Last thing do not train over your limits then you will end up hurting yourself.

Could i learn this before learning a standing backtuck?
@joelthesupergamerboy8427
@joelthesupergamerboy8427 Жыл бұрын
Yes but it depends on what you are comfrontable with but if you have a very good and powerful round off then the round off backflip is easier to learn than the standing backflip. Some people think the round off backflip is more scary so they learn standing backflip first so they are used to go going backwards and they don't be afriad to do the round off into the flip. But just try both you backflip standing and from round off and be which is easier and which one feels less scary. Whatever skill you learn first it can make the other easier but each skill has it's own progression steps so take your time.
