I grew up fishing that spillway and the pond above it. Caught a ton of saugeyes from the pond. Went out on my big fish spot on the river with a friend that hadn't ever caught a blue last week. Put him on a 45lb blue and a few flatheads and goldeye. Still haven't been out there and not caught one over 40 this year. You and RD's channel inspire me to get out there and work a little harder than everyone else to get to those big ones.

Big Channel Kittys in Fargo! Check out Fargo ND if/when time ever allows. The Red River (Red River of the north) one of only two Red Rivers in the nation. The other one is the Red River of the South (Texas-OK border). The Red River of the north, if I am not mistaken is one of only two rivers in our Great country the runs north. The further north u go from Fargo the kittys get bigger.

You should invest in a portable landing cradle, they are used in carp fishing. You can also carry gear in them to your swim. It’s a lot better for the fish and filming. If you really wanna make your bank fishing easier while you look at cradles look at some 3 or 5 rod Rod Quivers. Great series of videos thank you.

Try walking down the bank when you get stuck. A lot of times pulling from a different angle can get you freed up.

Some year in the spring or October(Flatheads) you should come to Michigan & fish the Saginaw River. The spring would be great for a Livestream. You never know what you will catch: Walleye, Northern Pike, Flatheads, Channel Catfish, Bowfin, Drum(Unbelievably Epic), Carp, Sucker, Crappie, White Bass, Yellow Perch, Bluegills & Sunfish. Sturgeon & other fish if you are lucky. I know a guy that caught at least 120 Flatheads. Bring Boo on vacation. I caught 10 species this year plus invasive Gobies.
