This video offers a rare opportunity to see Brent NOT in his element. Brent is so good at Honda's that he can solve multiple issues so fast that (normal) people may miss what happened and how it was solved, at PFI Speed. Here the Scion slowed him down just enough to see the problems and solutions come in at closer to "normal people" speed. In the end, of course, the classic laugh we all know and love. I have an 09 scion xB. It was supposed to be just a credit rebuilding car. I realized it has the 2.4L motor which is extremely reliable and gets like 300k or more miles if taken care of. I don't have all the fun stuff like this video but the basics. Wheels, suspension. Some little ginger bread stuff here or there. I ended up keeping him. I refuse to get rid of him until he dies. 13 years old with 137k miles. We are not even half there ;) by far the most reliable car I've had.

Haven't seen one of those plug cleaners since I last worked on the 1960 Chrysler 300F and 1961 Chrysler Newport Wagon. Works great on copper plugs, I wouldnt use it for platinum or iridium tipped plugs though.

the fic also seem top come into power faster by like 1000 rpm they are trickey to tune but id believe some supporting mods ie feul pump lines and reg would have helped him get a smoother run...… also did he have his o2 sensors spliced together? theres a few more things that could have helped like 12v fuel pump mod..... these Toyota ecus don't play they will run pig rich under boost....the thing that seemed to help me the most tho was letting the factory ecu pull timing???? the fic can run the fuel map but it kinda sucks messing with the timing :( but it works well to add fuel and change injector size clamp the maf ect…. just dosnt pull timing or add timing correctly and it will misfire..... but since a lot of Toyotas are vvti…… the stock ecu adjusts the timing well!!! nd the cam an crank signal are not needed to adjust fuel the fuel map and will solve a lot of issues out of the gate.. .
