The one problem I have on this level is that I found all 3 secrets, had my combo still going, got the secret treasure and as an added bonus, I destroyed the Mort Cube. And for some reason, it still won't give me the P Rank. I don't know if this game hates me or what but I still get S Rank on the level no matter what. "Kill an enemy before leaving the first room" is a very cruel rule, especially since I didn't know about it and was swearing in rage trying to understand why I don't get a P rank despite I did everything right, even destroyed the Mort Cube on my way. I just left Cheeseslime in the first room alive because I had problems with reaching Lap 2 portal without losing a combo and this Cheesesllime was a good way to not lose it, only when I opened this video and read the rules I realized my mistake and P-ranked that damn level which itself was MUCH easier for me to run perfectly than Oregano Desert.

Easiest P rank by far for me. Only took me two playthroughs of the level normally to learn the whole layout and only around 7 tries at P ranking, lasting only about 45 minutes. For context, pizzascape took about 2 hours. I think doing WAR on just a regular play through took longer.

@@Drogaidon I think he's technically the nicest character in the game. If you watch the "Good to evil" series, I think Gerome may be the nicest. He helps you unlock a door free of charge, has no ill will towards anyone and even helps revive John if you open all the doors (or laments his death if you don't). He also helps you go to the next floor by manually cranking. Noisette is the CLOSEST second, but she is a bit greedy with tips given she makes her own Boyfriend pay her to unlock the boss doors and charges more than Mr Stick, the greedy debt collector. (but she's so cute, you kind of want to make her happy)

Taking damage from enemies does cut your combo meter in half so generally if you get hurt, you only have like a second to save it (from full). Falling into a pit though does NOT reset or penalize you except that you have to redo the room, which may mean the items you collected and enemies killed are gone. That said, THIS level is kind of merciful. I jumped past Mort in the run back every time and there was always time to grab him and keep going. Oh and the Toppin Monsters in Don't make a sound instantly end your combo regardless if you're caught. One of the few things in the game that can do that. You'll want to learn to parry and try to master it cause fork enemies are often the bane of your combos (BLOODSAUCE DUNGEON CAN LICK A KNIFE! I swear the enemies are placed in the WORST possible positions and they didn't put like ANY items in the run back, so you have to be PERFECT....TWICE....)

Nah, it's just an optional source of points. The score requirement is not hard to reach at all. in fact this guy collected WAY more points than necessary. I just blitzed through the first rooms ignoring most of the side paths entirely and still got the P rank easily. The key is: Find all three secrets (you do NOT have to tap the Patreon avatars, you just need to find them and exit them successfully) Find Gerome and his door and get the secret item. Complete Lap 2 (you can't get an S or P rank without attempting Lap 2. regardless of points). Defeat an enemy in the first room and maintain a combo through the ENTIRE run (the first room part is so you can't cheese it by just playing pacifist until the end, then killing an enemy and yes.... if your combo runs out while you have the P rank, it will revert to S rank. You need to leave the level before the Combo meter runs out.) That's what makes the P rank so challenging. Also fun fact: P and S rank are the same score requirement. so technically if you get an S rank, you f8cked up. The point requirement is the easiest part.

Hey quick question what do use for Pizza Tower : Controller (and also which one) or keyboard?

I use controller. It is easy to accidently charge a super charge by spinning the stick down but the buttons are laid out in a way it's really easy to do combo moves without straining your fingers. I tried keyboard and holding the mach run button while doing other stuff hurts my pinky. even though the arrow keys make it far easier to precisely control Peppino. Just takes practice.

Please for the love of god someone help me. I can’t P Rank this level. Not because of skill, because of bugs. I do everything for a P Rank, but it gives me an S every time! I tried everything. Getting treasure/secret on 2nd lap, getting hurt without Mort, not killing that much enemies, getting Mort Cube- Everything. I have P-Ranked every level except this one. So please, SOMEONE, tell me how to fix this. (And no, I do not have mods installed.)

I think you can only do that when in front of the entrance/exit door and if the time limit is active.

Also random story: i tried to P Rank Crumbling Tower of pizza, and due to me skipping a few collectibles i didn't have enough points, until i spammed the hell out of a taunt button and got enough score. Btw it was very easy to do it in one combo.
