Fantastic work Pikapetey, but IT DOESN'T HAVE ENOUGH PIKACHUS!!
@PikaPetey7 жыл бұрын
I drew pikachu 50-60 TIMES for this animation. BUT I TOTALLY AGREE. not enough!!
@GReturn7 жыл бұрын
Pikapetey Animations It doesn't matter how many times you drew Pikachu, what matter is each frame of the video should contain 30,000 Pikachu. Each Pikachu should have a different face expression. Sorry if I interrupted your stream or something, but drawing Pikachus should be your top priority.
@PikaPetey7 жыл бұрын
Darn!! drawing pikachus isn't currently my top priority. I must be failing at life right now.
@GReturn7 жыл бұрын
Pikapetey Animations You're failing indeed. Your Pikafamily is disappointed at you right now. Pikachus should be your top priority since your mom gave birth to an unknown species like you, and you must multiply in order for your kind to exist in this world. You're not only failing at your life, you're failing at every Pikachu's life! Only you can save your species. You shouldn't waste any more time, every Pikachu is counting on you...

I remember that I first learned stop motion in early high school..it was so much fun to do but it takes time like any other animation. Y'all in the audience may not know how long it takes, especially with a deadline..but it takes a long time. But there's always something beautiful about this, and I love 2D, it's so upsetting to me that Disney stopped their 2D department, that was what I loved about Disney, now it feels more geared towards selling toys and crap than the art and enjoyment of it all. Anyways, amazing work, both of you for all your projects. Keep it up, I'll always look forward to your works! ~

5:40. I would like to add that using vector brush strokes like I do, and getting them to look nice can be a NIGHTMARE if you are a perfectionist like me. Brush strokes, pressure, getting them to look consistent and smooth, making sure there are no tiny gaps or stray lines, just, BLUUHHH.

Another really creative and fun episode! :) A tip for people who want to try this: If you're using a camera like a DSLR, you should probably change the settings to manual for the ISO, Shutter Speed, and Aperture. Otherwise it will auto adjust constantly and screw up the continuity. Oh, and ALWAYS make sure that there is no sunlight in the room where you're doing it, or your pictures will get darker over time.

i’ve always been enthralled with stop-motion. i’ve seen almost all of Laika’s Stop-motion films (only one i haven’t seen is Paranorman), and my favorite of them all is Coraline (though Kubo and the Two Strings is a close second). i’m always impressed by how they’re able to move the puppets frame by frame. if an animation has a unique look or feel to it, it has my attention, which is why i’m drawn to stop-motion. so cool!

You guys doing an episode on stop-motion reminds me of those source film maker or SFM made shorts which are kind of stop motion. It even more so with Gmod made motion videos. In the fact of that I was wondering you did or planning to do a video covering those kinds animation or if they are even considered a technical animation.
