Update several hours later: it was a strava comment on one of his runs. A few days laters, it was in one of his videos. Anyway, I hope he sells tons of shirts with it (tho he probably needs to win more races to make hella bucks on it).

Thanks for showing us all how to ‘fight’..... Whether it be personal or communal, specific or general, against injustice, disease, circumstance or simply the daily grind.....we all show up to ‘fight’ - not literally the aggressive fight with fists and fury; rather the best of ourselves and everything we have to offer in taking a step forward. Sometimes we win, and it is a dream come true. And sometimes we do not. So as you fight, in this run, in this day or in this life, realize we do not lose if we slow down, fail or ultimately die. We win, not only by crossing the line first, having the most success or living the longest - there are many who have these things and are desperately lost. Rather, we win by the way we live: how we live, why we live and the manner in which we live. This is true for all we do and whenever we run. So go on and live (and run): live pure, live beautiful, live wild and free. And do not doubt, that when you do so, you also contribute to the silent masses: In the way that one star among many may seem insignificant, but together with the many they provide a night sky that is at once stunning and transformative in the inspiration it provides.
