PIKO (peeko) is East German brand, (before West and East Germany united) in my time i Poland I had "H0" PIKO (largest), and "N "PIKO (small), also was "TT" PIKO (medium) track size.

@@IVERJUNCTION They were absolute perfect, detailes, with extra small priny on every car. The only toy-models trains with such quality in Eastern Europe countries at that time. They used 12V transformers, powered via tracks.

I have this track cleaning wagon. Admittedly I struggled to get to grips with it because model railways are still rather new to me and the trial and error that comes with it makes it hard to maintain. To be fair, Frome Parkway has been packed away for a while before we were able to get it built so that probably comes with it. Hope you're keeping well Danny.

Nice track cleaning wagon. Like your HST intro and outro. My intro and outro is my beloved Foxcote Manor. I'm a lady steam engine fanatic.

Hello, Danny.... Nice review of the car. Thiis is from Piko, but it is sublet to Gaugemaster, who apply the Network rail details. Most Continentals who own in, say it is good. A company called LUX make the Maserati or Jaguar of track-cleaning cars, but they are expensive! I do have some PIKO items, but my track and the vast majority of my stuff is from Märklin, including all my ICEs. Great video and cheers!

Hi Anthony thank you for correcting me I do apologise I thought it was piko, from first impressions they seem like a good company couldn't fault the wagon and it certainly is a fun way of cleaning your track, hope you and Joyce are keeping well and all set for Christmas 🎄 not long now 😊 😀 😃

I think its a fun way to clean the track and it picks up an amount track 'dirt', so it does serve a purpose. Thinking it would be possible to make more pads, if you can cut a slither off of the larger track cleaning block, thick piece of plasticard, Bob is suddenly a good friend. Your choice clearly. Take care Danny and Merry Christmas just in case we don't chat till the new year.

Be careful with the retaining screws Danny, I found after replacing the pad for the third time that one of the threads under the body started to strip and you can't use glue because in time you will need to undo the screws to replace the pad. Take care regards Barry.

Hi Danny, Be interested to see how you get on with this. Did you apply any ‘Track Magic’ to the pad?
@IVERJUNCTION
@IVERJUNCTION Ай бұрын
Hi mate no I didn't use the track magic but I do have some goo gone ready for when I eventually get the brass track cleaning wagon just waiting to get it at the right price as at the moment they are expensive for such a small track cleaning wagon, thank you as always for watching and commenting very much appreciated 😊 😀 😃
