@@IVERJUNCTION I have seen the Oxford boxes before and they are a bargain, but I am put off by the randomness that could get you only one item that you actually want and a load you dont, but that was definitely good selection for farming!

@@IVERJUNCTIONHi Danny (it's just like writing to myself🤣) I just bought the NCE, I've got a Gaugemaster prodigy for years now, that I bought for a bigger layout I want to build.(just retired as a train driver, got the time now😅) The NCE. starter package I bought for a shelf layout that I'm building at the moment. I had two reasons to build this layout, first of all I wanted a test track where I can test DCC as well as DC. Not that I intend to run on DC, but it can come in handy before a loco is DCC fitted. And in this build I wanted to explore and play with Arduino's, as a run up to a bigger layout. And then I had a few locos that were totally out of era that I collect in (1 to 3 normally) like two Ruston whisky distillers shunters and a BR type 40 diesel. So I came up with the idea of building a remote highland whisky distillery. I've to say that the NCE is a very good controller and I start to like it even more than the Gaugemaster, something I now have think about for the bigger layout… Anyway, thanks for the nice reply.
