Croc clips and a cotton tip with some ipa run the wheels slowly and the cotton tip will still clean while the wheels move

Hi Danny- That seems to work well I was looking for something like that and spotted one from Gaugemaster but you had to buy 2 to be able to fit a longer loco in it. Cheers Kev

Thank you kev mate yeah it managed to fit a whole class 60 on it so I would imagine it's the majority of locos that will fit except units but yeah quite a clever little kit just hope over longer term it will still be effective a gadget that has been on my wish list now for a little while, hope you are keeping well kind regards Danny 😊

Interesting. I got one of those for my steam locos and it was useless. I found because it was primarily designed for HO models that the steam locos just didn't run well on it. I much prefer the Gaugemaster GM60 wheel cleaning brush. Weird how your diesel does ok. Cheers for sharing. John.

Thank you John for watching and commenting very much appreciated, yeah there has been mixed reviews on this kit, it is strange that the 60 works OK on it, maybe it might only work on bigger diesels and it probably thinks it is HO model even though its 00 gauge not sure, my other diesels work aswell maybe in the future I will test a steam loco, kind regards Danny 😀

Hi Danny. No idea how its meant to clean rolling stock wheels. Looks like it prevents locos from moving thus the wheels are still turning & rubbing themselves on the pad. Cheers Kevin ATB 🚞🙋‍♂️👍🤝

Hornby didn't put the class 60 in the railroad range the railroad range doesn't have lights either only the premium range

I purchased one of these a few years ago and have always thought it a waste of money. I would not recommend it to anyone. Sorry but I was so dissapointed with it myself.
