Hi Carmen, I really enjoy your series. I am a yoga teacher and beginning Pilates instructor, which is how I found you. My arms are not long enough where my hands reach the mat the way yours do, and I am sure you would agree people have different physiques. (And I am sure not everyone has the nice Casa Pilates mat you do ;) I would welcome your feedback on how to modify this exercise for it to still qualify as "Pilates", e.g., are bent legs ok (as an opening and walking position), is dropping to your knees ok, etc. Obviously, students may be ok with putting weight on their wrists, but their hamstrings may not cooperate. Thank you in advance for your guidance.

Thanks for watching! Yes, as I mention at around 1:11 I talk about bending the knees and maybe with practice, the body will be more receptive to put the weight on the hands in front of the feet. I hope that helps.
