Your video has been so helpful! I came here when I first got my money plant and now I’m back again a couple months later rewatching because she’s produced a baby. Finally feel comfortable to branch out and get more indoor plants as this is a sign I can keep them alive. Now to watch more of your videos to further educate myself! Thank you!

Hi Emma, ok yesterday and today I binge watched your channel lol. I'm in Ontario Canada waiting for spring ;) During the pandemic I've become obsessed with indoor plants ... and I find it helps me in this time of being at home more. I've always loved nature, but had never been to good at keeping plants ... now I'm obsessed with them and obsessed with learning more about them. One day I may be able to pronounce their names lol. I touch them often and talk and even humm to them. I'm in love lol. Anyway, just letting you know you have another subscriber and I'm enjoying your video. Canadian hugs, Sunshine

They would appreciate more light. I have had a baby for 3months and keep it in a south facing window that has a bug screen she is growing like a monster and super happy. Twice the size of yours and the foliage is so abundant and rich green. She wants turning every day or two.
@GoodGrowing3 жыл бұрын
Ahh okay. I'll try to give more light but I only have what the UK weather will allow 😅
Maybe mine is a "sugar" and I thought it was just unhappy? I dunno. I got mine from a seller that had propagated it from their very large plant and it was in no light and very wet sub in an extremely cool environment. I immediately repotted it into a one size up container with a soil combo that's really good for drainage. I put it in a bright indirect sun spot and it did great the first 3 ir 4 days then one of the leaves started to curl under? I wasn't sure why so I moved it into a slightly less lighter area. Any suggestions?
@GoodGrowing3 жыл бұрын
It's quite possible that it's not used to being in a better draining soil, so you may need to keep it a bit wetter for a little bit while it acclimates to it's new substrate

The stems aren't really braided at all. Sorry to hear about the black spots on yours. Unfortunately leaves won't grow back from the places they've fallen, but if the plant is still alive, it should keep growing from the top

My Pilea was doing amazing in the summer, so many babies and now that the winter is here it’s a love & hate relationship & many many leafs turn yellow/brown. I pluck them but it still looks very droopy & not many babies anymore like the summer time.. I let it dry out in between waterings also.. I’ve had it for almost a year & haven’t changed the nursery pot it came in- not sure if that could be it.

Hey! I’ve had my plant for a little bit now, I was wondering if you knew if it was normal that my plant is yellowing on its bottom leaves and then a few days later loosing them...I think it’s okay? Because theirs new growth coming out of the center and everything else is green...but is this natural and normal for it to do this?

Hmm mine have done that before so it is normal but i think it may be a symptom of a greater issue like irregular watering in some way

Hey there! I just bought a pilea peperomioides about 2-3 days back. I live in hostel and have an east-facing window. So, I wanted to know if I should keep the plant on the window? or if I keep it inside the room sometimes? Can it survive and thrive in artificial room light?
@GoodGrowing4 жыл бұрын
An east facing window should be fine for these. I'm sure they would enjoy a bit of morning sun. Just keep an eye out to see if it gets to be too much for the plant. If it does, move it further from the window! Best of luck :)

That vague advice that says "if your plants have this/that problem your overwatering/underwatering" Which one is it. Be more specific!
@GoodGrowing4 жыл бұрын
I know it's difficult, but those symptoms can be a sign of either under or over watering. So if you are experiencing that, take a look at your soil and watering habits. Is the soil moist most of the time? Then it's probably overwatering. Do you tend to forget about it or leave it for long periods without water? Then probably overwatering.
