I love York Mint patties. My sister loves them too and I usually make sure i have a bag of them waiting when she comes to visit from Australia. Hopefully your Juki comes home soon. I really should send my Bernina to get serviced soon :)

Haha Lesa. The list of what I wouldnt eat candy wise is fairly short too. Probably anything cinnamon and thats about it. Yes I think its meant to be whiskers. I finished the full face and its looking even better than what I showed on Sunday!

You’ve been busy this week! The Cheshire Cat is already looking fabulous 😺 my favourite sweet is Turkish delight but only the real stuff from Turkey. I also really like rollos for a chocolatey treat. I never thought about irons as I have a couple in my sewing room and a separate one for our clothes, but it’s something that’s definitely an essential for me when sewing.

G'day Zaza. I love Turkish Delight. Its not easy to find here. I have tried making it a couple of times and did ok. Rolos are yummy too. Irons are one of those things you dont think about until your one and only dies on you without warning 😒 .

Hi Sean! Love the Cheshire cat!! I think the polka dots look like the spots where they have whiskers. Halloween candy is all about the Reese’s cups!! My goal this next 2 weeks is to finish the tee shirt quilt too and start quilting it. I never made one before. Im not impressed with the process lol Have a great week!

@@TheGuyWhoSews I decided to do it in columns instead of rows with the same sized blocks. More like a puzzle. Im having issues getting the seams to lay flat. Mostly with the sweatshirts. I have used the acorn pen and best press. I’m hoping it isn’t an issue when I go to Quilt it. I only have two more columns to do. It is large! I am kind of enjoying piecing the columns together. I do like puzzles.

My favorite candy is a Chips Ahoy Milka Chocolate Bar, it combines 2 of my fave treats. Wow, the Cheshire Cat is going to be fabulous. I love the fabrics. The insulated lunch bag is wonderful. I love those mini projects they are inspiring and joy to make as the recipient is thrilled to have the item. It have been moving along on several projects ('23 FQS Halloween Mystery, 2 tablerunners using the Lil' Diana pattern in fall fabrics, WW PMQ Clue 2). I am glad to see you mix up which projects you work on weekly as that is what I do as well. Happy sewing!

I have been getting supplies together to start quilting. I don't think I will get much done this weekend as I have to work Saturday and work a presentation that is due Tuesday. Be well.

I love the Cheshire cat & the white is perfect. It's like the whiskers on the cat. My favorite is chocolate. I love Hersheys milk chocolate bar, Twix & dark Milkway. But Nerd Clusters are a favorite, too. Obviously I love candy!

Strawberry Twizzlers or peanut M&Ms. What did you use in the lunch bag to provide the insulation? Before my husband retired, he liked to use that shape of bag for taking a sandwich to work.

Gday Carol. Twizzlers are one of my favourites too. Strawberry is my flavour of choice for them too. I used what I think is called insul-bright. It's a insulating layer I got from Joann years ago and can be used for lunch bags, hot mata, oven gloves etc.

Gday Deidra. Snickers are good but recently I've been enjoying the milky way more for some reason. Funny as I used to prefer Snickers over that for decades
