Boo's fur is so shiny and pretty. The Greenies Pill Pockets, while they seem like a great idea, never worked for me either. Unless they have changed, the pocket was so big that I had to pull off a piece of it to wrap around a pill and Pumpkin would eat around the pill and then spit the pill out.

I put an inch of clay litteron the bottom of the pans and then layer 3 or 4 inches of Cedarific. The cats do the mixing for me.

None of my cats like the pill pockets either. My pickiest 15 yo cat goes through phases of what foods she likes. It's almost seasonal. She'd get obsessed with chicken, then she only likes turkey, then she prefers more beef & liver, now she likes fish again. Sometimes she makes me open 6 cans and then she ends up settling for the 1st can with some toppers.

I have recently compared Dr Elsy's with World's Best, which I thought was too pricy. Turns out that the World's Best 15 lbs is the same volume as the heavy Dr Elsy's, which is way too dusty for me but my 9 cats litter-ally (pun intended!) use that one at once before I could even clean it out! That's never happened before and it saves me a lot of time having to clean up multiple areas around 15 litter boxes but as I said, the dust with Dr Elsy's is do much worse and harder to vacuum up rather than just using a little broom. I mix it together now and it works well. At $20 each of the litter bags it is still pricy but it serves my purpose. And I get about the same volume usage out of each.

I guess my cat was a 20%-er. Worked like a charm for me. However mine were unflavored, so maybe that has something to do with it.

My cats eat pill pockets as a treat, then if they ever need a "pill" there is no problem. They do dry out after a while and get hard. I once bought this bacon flavored paste - that was a fail, kitty said no way. I've tossed so many things for giving medicine over the years, but what are you going to do? Either they like it or don't - all you can do it try.
