Love this area! Hanging rock is pretty climes by too which has even more trails and a lake. Fortunately I am close enough that I can do this as often as I like :)

The Bus is only on the weekend. Go on a weekday and you can drive to the top yourself.

There's definitely some damage left. The trees are thin in a few places. I never saw it when it happened so I can’t compare. I highly recommend going up there!
