Ahhh... ole exit 25, maybe the most BS exit on I-90. Lots of great stuff for me in this video! I'm a bit surprised there weren't more people at these lakes, they seemed popular to me as I've seen people each I time I've done this. I had no idea there were multiple campsites up at Hub Lake, when I went in there, there was still snow so it is nice to know that they are there. AND I had no idea that there was an open portal above Hub Lake. I've always wanted to do a loop and go all of the way to the ridge, then link up with the other trail that comes down. Great video!

It's a weird exit, for sure. I was totally expecting 10+ cars at the trailhead, it being the 4th of July weekend. That's why I just did a day hike. I've been wanting to make a loop there, too. I'm not sure what the trail to the stateline is like. Looks steep and lightly used. I want to check out Square Lake. It looks like there is a trail from the road down to it. As for camping at Hub, there are 4 spots at the end of the lake. The trees have gotten big enough for some shelter. I've also have wanted to do a point to point hike from Up Up Lookout to Hub Hazel Trailhead. Thanks for watching. Hike on!
