Out of stock until August. The PSVR2 PC adapter will be available by then. I will go for that instead as you can't beat OLED.

I think we need 5090's for this resolution without dfr in sim racing. I'm tempted to get one after seeing sim racing benchmarks combined with a 5090 if nothing else better comes along by the end of the year.

Thanks, quick and concise. Do you think you'll review the Pimax Crystal Super when it comes out? I would order the Crystal Light right now if I wasn't holding out for the Super. I'm prepared to get a new graphics card for the Super, but I'm waiting to see if it's really worth the expense, or if we'll be seeing diminishing returns from the higher specs.

Hopefully I'll get my hands on the Crystal Super to review at some point. When I asked about it, it's still expected Q4 currently. In terms of GPU it's worth mentioning that the Crystal Light resolution of 2880 x 2880 (8.2m pixels) per eye is more than enough to push a 4090 beyond it's limits in most games above 90Hz. You'll really need a 5090 to hit 120Hz at native resolution on the Crystal/Crystal light. The Cyrstal Super is 3840 x 3840 (14.7m pixels) per eye, it will probably be a challeng to run at 90Hz even on a 5090 (time will tell). There is DFR on the Crystal Super which will give you a performance boost, but is only supported on a handful of games. So it depends on the sort of VR games you play (flight sims at low refresh rates or racing sims with higher refresh rates). I think for most VR simmers the Crystal Light paired with a 4090 will be the most popular combination for some time.

@@HamVR Oof, thanks Ham, that is really useful information. You might have done so already, but a short video explaining that might go down really well. Hate to openly admit such tech ignorance but when I said I was prepared to buy a new graphics card I was imagining spending about £600, not £1.5-2k. I love the simulators, but i suppose my primary interest in VR is gaming (RPGS, FPS) and things like BigScreen. I think my best hope will be to wait for the rtx 50 series to come out and then try to pick up a 4090 at a reduced price...
