The digital animation programme equips students with the high level of skills needed to succeed in today's animation industry. It emphasizes creativity, character design, story, cinematography, VFX and compositing 3D and Games Art; all channelled through the advanced software skills needed to achieve inventive and engaging animation. These programmes develop digital modelling and character animation skills, virtual lighting and virtual camera work, exposing students to the latest professional 3D animation practices. The students create short animated final films or fully playable games levels. Employment opportunities include computer animation companies, work with games, TV and film special effects companies. Our graduated students have worked and freelanced with some of the world's best known production and post production houses.

This makes me feel like I can do something... like maybe I have a chance to be happy with what I do. Im a young kid and I draw and i’ve been getting into animation but my family has really made it hard for me to do what I really love and appreciate. I would give up a lot to do this for a living. To make these characters and to tell their story and to show their emotions. It just hurts to be able to see examples of this and feel like I can’t do it.

I used the app Flip-A-Clip, You can even add a bit of audio, It has ads and some limitations, But past those its a great place to start, I just did lil circles and Squish and squashed them :3))

The way I say this is the rolls on their neck is the remains of a collar. Maybe the wolf recently got away from a situation where they had a collar on that was too tight and permanently damaged their vocal cords? Like maybe it was trapped or something and got separated from their pack? Idk.

It’s just the art style lmfao. Collars constrict, not puff out. It’s a wolf that has difficulty howling, that’s all. The rolls are made of fat and fur to keep out cold

@@S_W_ actually no lol, that’s a dog and at the end are wolves. You can tell because the dog as pointier bigger ears (wolves have short round ears) and the dog holds it’s necks higher, while wolves do not

As someone who knows what it is like to feel alone and trying to find friends because you're different. This hit me. For me I see this being like maybe the young wolf was casted out from their original pack because he couldn't howl right. He wonders the forest trying to find someone who understands them. Then he hears howls of wolves, taking a chance the wolf follows them. Following the sound of the howls he finds paw prints and looking ahead the wolf thinks it was all in their head and turns to leave only to see it wasn't in his head. A pack of wolves had came and took the young wolf in despite seeing that he's not a good howler, but they accept him anyways. I know how this wolf feels while looking for friends because I went through the same thing. I found out I was more different then I thought I was when I found I have autism, Asperger's syndrome, and finding my group of friends after changing schools because I my old middle school I was being bullied.

@@SpeedAcceleracer I did find friends, like this wolf I found my pack of friends who don't care that I have Asperger's, they see me as any other person who is just a bit more different then they are. Just remember this, just because you have Autism doesn't make you any less normal, it what makes you well you. It's what makes you you're ever own kind of person. To me it sounds like you have yourself one special group of people to call friends. I nearly give up on friends and friendship all together because of bullying, but the friends that I have now taught me that friendship is worth it and that having friends makes the world a little less lonely.

This is so cute and beautifully animated!! For the people who are unsure, the main dog is just a dog I think, not a wolf, though maybe a mix. You can tell by the ear and face shape as well as the way their neck is more risen. At the end he joins a pack of wolves, which you can tell also from their anatomy and coloration :) I personally thought the difference in the species was obvious, but a lot of people don’t know them, so I thought I’d share. I often see art were people draw very dog like wolves (to the point where their wolves look nothing like a wolf and just a dog- which you can still have stylized drawings that clearly show it’s a wolf, so sayin* it’s a style can’t be an excuse), so I was happy to see that the wolves at the end were very wolf like compared to the dog

Thank u... I Iost my beautiful, big red golden retreiver service dog. He passed away in April 2021. He was such an amazing, good dog and friend. He kept me safe and he was the world to me. He suffered so much from Apoquel that caused rare AML (Leukemia). I miss him so much This short gave me so much peace. It helped me see him free.... thank u, from my heart

I was a wolf in my past life and I was the only one left, I dont remember seeing any of my pack on the last day I was alive. I was killed by two hunters. I dont know if my pack got killed or if they fled but this has got me fucking bawling. I saw myself in this animation. So lost and scared, wanting to find home again, wanting to find my family. I still think about the soft warmth of being curled up in the den, feeling so safe and happy. I felt like as soon as the wolf approached the entrance to the valley and met the other wolves, it was like I was being reunited in the afterlife with them. God im so emotional right now
