Taiwanese Style Pineapple cake is typically with a square or rectangular in shape, with a jammy pineapple filling encased in a tender short crust pastry.

3/4 cup sugar
1/2 cup brown sugar
1/4 tsp fine salt
1 tbsp butter
for the crust:
2 cups ap flour
3/4 cup butter
1/2 cup powdered sugar
2 eggyolks
1/4 tsp fine salt
1 tsp vanilla essence
