I have Aventus. I find it doesn't stay in my skin very long. For more than $200, I'd like it to preform a little better than it does. If I can get Pineapple Vintage Noir for less than half the price, I'm all for it. I've sampled a few of the PV fragrances, and have really enjoyed them.

Its not really a skin scent I've noticed. I can spray on 5 or 6 sprays even and if I sit around, I smell nothing. That being said...if I'm walking around, or if I'm outside in a breeze, then I REALLY smell the Aventus. Its definitely a scent for people on the go.

I just received my PVI bottle today along with X-batch and Rush of Unicorns and very excited to smell it. I noticed PVI has a rotten pineapple smell in the opening which goes away after 5 minutes or so. I have not seen anybody mentioned this from reviewers on youtube. I went to Basenotes site and it seems like other people have had the same complaints. The x-batch and Rush of Unicorns are okay.

Timmy I recently went to Sicily and bought a fragrance from Aqua di Taormina called Petra Lavica. It was 40 euro for 50 mil. Best Aventus clone I've smelled and I've smelled them all. Great performance and longevity too.

Aventus today sucks and is just over hyped. I have the latest batch and I can barely smell it. It has 0 smokey. Pure fruit and light at that. Glad I only bought a 10ml. Armaf over latest aventus batch anytime.

Loved the take on the frags man. I haven't smelled the newest Noir Intense, but from the samples they were testing a month or two ago, it seemed promising! But of course, definitely prefer Aventus by a long shot. Love the house man, makes for a great backdrop!

PV Intense is extra fruity for those who like those batches...PV Noir is a smokey batch for those who like those and the PV original and Noir intense are for those who LOVE the fruit or LOVE the smoke and cant get enough. It's not a bad thing but some Aventus freaks will love the OG and Noir Intense and some people that have never smelled Aventus might love the OG and Noir Intense for what it is. Also. I farted. Cedrat Boise is a fragrance on its own and not actually a clone. It has similarities with Aventus though it has many differences which makes it unique. I'd not bother with any Parfums Vintage releases since they're almost a $100. If you have a $100 to spend on one of these I'd recommend you to just be a bit more patient, collect a little more and catch a good deal from online sales to buy yourself an original Aventus bottle (fragrancenet.com, fragrancex.com, notino.com and many other reliable websites often offer great deals on these as well as any other fragrance that you might like to buy. I'd stay away from eBay sellers if you are not sure how to verify if the bottle they are selling is authentic or a fake; as there are tons of fake bottles out there which some look almost identical to the real thing) Last but not the least, I personally love Cedrat Boise more than Aventus actually. Aventus is a good fragrance but it's just too expensive to justify spending that much money for a fruity fougere with slightly above average performance and uniqueness (again, there are good deals online. The money they are asking retail is absolutely ridiculous). Parfums Vintage doesn't worth the money either. I also don't like Club de Nuit Intense for men all that much either, since it's pretty harsh and synthetic. But honestly it is the only one that deserve the paid price in all of these. There are people who but Club de Nuit Intense and Demeter Pineapple, then mix them 1 part Demeter, 3-4 parts CDNI in an empty decant bottle, and they say it smells almost identical (I'd mix them 1 part Demeter and 5 or 6 parts CDNI because Pineapple tend to overpower the fragrance and you might not get too much of the darker aspects and smell rather fruity). Personally I'd give that a shot instead if I cared about Aventus that much, but I don't. I have a full bottle of CDNI and I've added a drop of pineapple fragrance oil I've bought from Perfumer's Apprentice to give it a try (which is one of the many other ingredients I have, to explore making my own perfumes) and I can tell it definitely smells way better than what it is. If you go this route though, you should add the perfume oil on top of CDNI you should add it very sparingly (as these oils are pretty strong and can dramatically change the overall smell if added too much and make it a fruit bomb) and let it sit for at least 1 or 2 weeks to get it blended in properly to get the best smell and performance out of it. Overall I think I have a fragrance smells damn close to Aventus. It costed me around $40 and I'm pretty happy with it. Cheers!

@@mv8834 to be honest I prefer mixing it with pineapple fragrance oil because it's way cheaper in the long run and it's much more controllable in terms of mixing ratio. I use 5 ml small travel spray bottles. I add two to three drops of pineapple oil, sometimes one tiny drop of green apple essential oil (cause I like it that way more) and give it a good shake then let it sit for a week to emacerate. It becomes really really close to Aventus fruity batches this way and gets a whole lot of compliments all around too (not that I wear fragrances to get compliments but it is in fact the fragrance mix which garnered the most, all positive compliments over time. This is only valid on my skin, and for the taste of the people around me, of course) I bought my oils from perfumer's apprentice website via a friend (since I don't reside in US). They have pretty decent pricing and good products. So I personally recommend their products. But don't get me wrong, I say that just because I don't have much experience with other brands (other than the ones I personally didn't like). I hope my reply helps. Cheers!

I think your wrong colonel sanders!!! Cdnim has the exact same dry down as aventus!!! Now the opening is definitely lemon cleaner “ish” but just wait 5-10 minutes and your good!!! Then just put 1-2 sprays of pv emperor or the real aventus and damn you good to go son!!!

Who in their right mind would spend $95 on Parfum Vintage 3.4 Oz bottle when you can get a PROVEN and highly praised niche house Mancera Cedrat Boise for only $5 more... oh and the Mancera is a 4 Oz bottle so it is cheaper actually than this new no-pedigree house. Think about it, how can Parfum Vintage be making a profit with them gifting every single youtuber and their kids a bottle of each of their fragrance (they have 5 now)? They wouldn't be operating at a loss... The most logical thing is they are covering the cost of gifting these fragrances by over-charging regular consumers. I saved up for Niche and bought Cedrat Boise and Aventus. Not going to waste my time with any clones... these included.

Not everyone can justify spending 300$ on a bottle of cologne. I have the money right now and I can certainly buy Aventus if I wanted to, but I just can’t spend that much on a single bottle of cologne. I do love my fragrances and I have spent a lot of money on the collection I have right now over time. I just can’t do it and I did go ahead and buy samples of these and I will be purchasing a bottle of the noir. I actually think it smells better than Aventus and so does my wife and this is obviously our own personal opinions.

i just received my 50ml PVI on 4-18-19 and the pineapple note smell way off, very pungent odor and rotten pineapple funk to it....extremely off putting, maybe it need some time to mature or aged but the way it is now that sh*t is unwearable, i had to wash that junk off after 20min. Both of my Emperor EDP and Extrait do not have the rotten smell and they both are top notch, stay clear from the PVI.... must be some bad batch of ingredients or someone fell asleep at the mixing lab! Don't say i didn't warn ya! lol

You forgot to tell the public that the 2016 and 2017 Aventus batch are locking the the original scent of the original Aventus, Aventus it is not the same any more just like the Nuit de homme. This being said this new pv smell better compared to the above batches, they are originals scent. If you want to find out what I'm saying just try the Aventus 2017 batch.
