I believe you're supposed to add coolant to the full line on the reservoir. At least that's what my owner's manual says.

I have the same Camry but in Hybrid you dont need to turn on the heater during bleeding it does take a while but what you want is the fan to kick on twice come on turn off come on turn off and your all set dont turn the heater on that was for older vehicles that used to have heater valves that needed to also let trapped air out so next time do the same process but dont turn on the heater just let it run for about 15-20min and it will bleed out the system just fine...👍

Good Job , thank you for posting. Can you recall how much coolant you actually used in the end, no point storing it needlessly ? Did you start the second container ?

So you don’t have to remove shield underneath?

Ok my corolla 2007 comes with red toyota suggested to me to switch to pink which is 50/50 What is the best way to flush old ok with Distilled till you see clean water and then drain radiator to add the coolant the question is how you can add pink coolant when it's 50/50 when the system is already has water the ration will not be right unless I get concentrated pink right

The bottle, says once done with flush, add coolant like you’re finished, after you’ve heated car and the coolant is flowing through engine. Drain all coolant from radiator like you did with the flush. Then add more coolant to finish up. They say to change coolant every 50,000 miles 5 years instead of initial 100,000 or 10 years.I’m guessing it’s because of the diluted nature.

The Corolla has a drain plug on the block easily accessible from the top right next to the firewall, 10mm. No need to use any cleaners or distilled water.

I have the same vehicle, my only concern is old fluid remaining in the system

My theory is that it doesn't matter. For any Toyota, the maintenance schedule says to do the first coolant change is when the car is 10 years old, and then every 5 years thereafter. I presume the reason it's every 5 years, instead another 10 years, is because Toyota expects some old coolant to stay behind. Thus the more frequent coolant changes after the first one. That's my theory, anyway. I have a 2009 Toyota Yaris. The shop manual says that the capacity is 5 quarts. When I drained it, I got slightly less than four. I refilled with Toyota pink coolant. I figure that since I got nearly 4/5 of the coolant out, that remaining 1/5 will be very diluted.

This in not how you exchange your old coolant for new coolant. This video ignored draining of the remaining coolant within the engine block and entire coolant system. The only coolant that exchanged was the coolant within the radiator leaving a substantial amount of old coolant within the system.

This is still how Toyota certified techs are trained to do it. Drain and fill not flush.

I guess you could take bottom hose off.

The 2AR-FE engine block does not have a block drain plug. Partial coolant changes work when using Toyota brand coolant because it prevents rust and mineral deposits.

2AR-FE and FXE doesn't require a flush just a drain and fill as done by certified Toyota technicians

It's called a Drain & Fill, not a Flush. Pay attention next time...
