hey asylum, let me start by saying i love your work. that said, i have been frusterating the hell out of myself for a couple of months trying to duplicate some of your work. true fire has got to be one of the hardest things to do. one of the problems i have is i dont have a micron the only airbrush i have at the moment is the hp revelution. very frusterating indeed when trying to do detail work with .5mm needle. i just dont have the$450 to get the cm-c plus. well today i finally got a layer that i feel i can work with. anyway thanks man you rock and make it look so effortless keep up the vreat work

Flawless flame technique Carsten! You've quickly become my favorite airbrush artist. Been watching your videos over the last year and every piece you do is more impressive than the last. Thank you for sharing your work and tips. You should have your own line of templates, stencils etc. How would I contact you to purchase a signed skull n flames panel for my art studio? Im in the US. 🤘

My flames never look as good. I combine freehand and stencil to lay them out. I a. Just not getting the stencils. The ones I make don't seem to go together or they are inverted and look awful. You do an amazing job any tips

Hi there and thanks for your comment and compliments on my artwork, I would suggest maybe getting a set of Mike Lavallee's tru fire template sets available from Artool, if that doesn't help then I would recommend drawing fire to get the 'flow' embedded in your thought pattern then use that same style and flow when painting with the templates. Keep practicing, fire is easy once you get it but super challenging when you start, I remember it took me quite a few goes before I developed my own style and got rid of the seaweed fire look. Hope that helps 👍🏼🔥+Durk Hennig

Отличная работа!Но один минус который портит всю картину- ступенька после удаления маскирующего скотча

I have a question. Which kind of paint do you use to draw the flames , I mean do you use an opaque white , translucent white or a base white paint ?
@AirbrushAsylum7 жыл бұрын
Hi there thanks for your comment, you should use opaque white as it will provide the base so the candy colours can sit on that and pop, thanks again hope that helps 👍🏼 +PreciosasMama

Thank you and sorry that having it sped up so much wasn’t as helpful for you, luckily I tend to only speed up certain sections of the new videos at double speed so it’s not too fast , thanks again for your comment all the best 👌🏻🙏🏻

I couldn’t finish the vid, waay too much talking and repeating yourself gets to point of being irritating. Maybe tone down the commentary a bit it make the videos much better
