Cool video Brendon, thanks for posting! You need Richard Wright's Broken China (1996) & his album with Zee Identity (1984) also the Nick Mason album Nick Mason's Fictitious Sports (1981).

Brendon. I really look up to you cause you never make feel bad for how much money i spend on music each month. Your collection is absolutely legendary and I look up to it in the highest regards. It is beautiful. Glad I discovered your channel and kind soul. Keep it going brother. I’m guessing you’ll have 11,000 CDs by 2022. ;)

Thanks man! I average around 300 to 500 CDs a year. This was probably a slower year with all the CD stores closed. But I’ll make up for it next year I’m sure. I my opinion spending money on something you love and that makes you happy can’t be wrong. Besides, it makes me feel good and it’s cheaper than a therapist! Haha

Hi Brendon, as ever a fantastic presentation. "Wet Dream" and the self-titled David Gilmour Album the same year are my all-time-favorite PF-Solo-Releases. Interesting rare stuff are the CD-Singles from Roger Waters' "Radio KAOS"-Album. "Radio Waves" contains "Going To Live in L.A." and "The Tide Is Turning" has "Get Back To Radio"; oth tracks were written for KAOS but didn't appear on the album. Very rare is the project "Zee" (Richard Wright & Dave Harris) from 1984. Doesn't sound close to Floyd, but some good tracks on; "Cuts Like A Diamond" is awesome and has a Floyd-Style. Be as you are... greetings from germany; Chris :-)

Yeah there is a whole lot more than just these items I showed. Fortunately for us Floyd has tons of rarities and solo/side project releases to help keep us entertained.

Hi Brendon - wow great video here. I'm a Pink Floyd fan though not to the level of knowing the ins and outs of all the albums and different remixes though I am starting to get into them as it's fascinating to hear things you wouldn't normally here in the final mixes. I may go to my local record store today as they sell official and unofficial CDs to see if I can find any of these you showed. That Division Bell/River mix CD looks cool. Happy New Year!

Wow your record store sounds great! The Pink Floyd Forever And Ever 2CD album mix from Division Bell and Endless River is my favorite out of all the the “unofficial” albums that I own and highly recommend it. @BrendonSnyder4 жыл бұрын
Hi Graham. Rarities first come from just reading and researching the band. As I find out new info that lets me know something has a different version or a re-recording, etc. I then begin searching for it. Usually starting with Amazon and then eBay. For high quality bootlegs I used a Japanese website rzrecord.jp this has opened me up to a lot more as well.

Great video and collection. Wondering the saucerful mono cd was ever officially released? I hoped they would release music from The Committee and La Carrera Panamericana in the later years/early years boxes but they didn't. Another good bootleg is "A journey through time and space" which has a very punkish version of Inrerstellar overdrive and heaps of alternate takes from Zabriskie Point OST

For a moment I thought that you would never stop showing us cds!!! What a great collection! The truth is that hundreds of live bootlegs and unofficial cds of PF have been released, some of them are very interesting. Unpopular opinion: I find this "raw" version of Gilmour's "Money" the same enjoyable as the original ... Unfortunately, no matter how many times I tried to give Mason's solos a chance, I found them boring. Fictitious Sports has such great musicians but I find it disappointing! It would be great if you could continue to show us other out of print albums by other bands and artists.

I’ll check through my collection and look for who else I can do a review like this for. This one in particular was that I’ve bought so much Pink Floyd in the last year that I felt it was worth showing. And these 24 was not everything I bought, just the most interesting. I may have to do a Part 2.

You know I’m a big boot guy when it comes to my favorite bands. After all, like you mentioned regarding several titles, the bands are holding stuff back hence only have themselves to blame. I only collect the soundboard and studio stuff like you. I just picked up Torino 1994 which is great. Is the Forever And Ever song sequence one that is known to be the original intended one or just a best guess by the label?
@BrendonSnyder4 жыл бұрын
Since the second disc from Division Bell was never completed they never knew what the final double disc would have been. So it’s just from the perspective of a music fan who complied related tracks editing and embellishing where needed to make the album flow seamlessly. The person who put it together did a stellar job IMO.
@SCUMCRODE4 жыл бұрын
Brendon Snyder these are not our father’s bootlegs, not that he listened to Floyd but you get my drift, the quality, packaging and remastering tools now readily available have made the boot market a treasure trove

A rare release is also the solo album by Roger Waters with Ron Geesin 1970 "Music from the body". The first idea was to make an album wirhout any instruments. Breathing, laughing ,hand clapping, farting, several mouth noises, and so on. This was the basic idea. In my opinion it's a solid album, a soundtrack. Not the best by Roger. Best wishes.
@BrendonSnyder4 жыл бұрын
Never could get into that album by Roger. But the idea of making an album without instruments first came about for Floyd prior to Wish You Were Here and their album Household Objects. Unfortunately only 2 pieces of music were ever created but I think it would have been amazing.
