In 1979 my parents sold our home to a British couple. Back then, owners met the new buyers. The buyers were British. I was 9yrs old. The British buyers had a 10yr old son who had a little crush on me. He gave me this album as a gift for letting him live in my home lol. Best day EVER!!! I worked on a Floyd show in Milwaukee. It was late 80's, early 90's . Post Waters, stage had two levels, lower level could not be seen by the audience, had back up musos and vocalists. I stood right next to the mix position, FOH, very elaborate. 2 Midas consoles, two 16 track tape machines, this was before Profools, one guy working the live sound mix, another guy working sound effects mix, another guy taking care of the tape machines. I had the best seat! Oh, and pre show, there was an extremely long line for the female bathroom and one young gal was about thirty in line and she gave up, yelling "I can't take this!" and she just stood there and peed in her Levi's!

Ben Harrison Pete townshend said he heard Pink Floyd play using quadraphonics and it inspired him, so he thought of creating an album using quadraphonic which became the album quardophenia. He later incorporated that sound into The Who’s live playing as well
