Considered by many to be one of the best guitar solos of all times. The band isn't together anymore but David Gilmour (guitarist) is still on stage from time to time. Your reaction is classic and very appropriate. Thank you for not cutting in on the solo(like many do) and saving your reaction for the end. That way we get to see how you react to the whole performance. ❤❤👍

I was at this concert. The guitar solo at the end was so epic, that the whole audience was in awe. David Gilmour has a way of making his guitar speak to your soul. Even after the concert in the parking lot, we were still in awe from what we had just witnessed. It was an experience I will never forget. I don't know if you noticed, but the audience was still during the song. Also he was so relaxed during the solo ( as if he was sitting in his lounge chair watching a movie with his feet up.

Jealously George, in the upmost positive way a music fan (a real shitty drummer) can be to another. Thanks for the insight Ser & besides new reactors, I'm enjoying hearing from fans who only add to the experience to the masterpiece we all are still enjoying during these trying times. Thankyou to you both for the positivity.

That version is awesome. BUt my first time seeing FLoyd was the tour before that, The Delicate Sound of Thunder tour. Comfortably Numb was pretty much the same, although this one was improved upon, which I cant believe they could do that from the previous tour. (although I do rank the Delicate Sound version better as it was my first show and I was at Nassau COliseum when they recorded it for a love DVD and CD. BUt I remember watching and listening to this song and I could not believe what I was witnessing. I had chills, I had tears in my eyes. I too, sat still just mesmorized. And in awe. I am still in awe when this song played live.

Lucky enough to manage 6 of these shows at Earls Court; plus two DSOT concerts at the Dockland Arena and a further one at the old Wembley Stadium. From memory the only singalong in all the shows was Wish You Were Here; and of course what was great about those years-no mobile phones! What made the Pulse concerts special of course was the whole of Dark Side of the Moon live.

I loved your reaction !!! As a Pink Floyd fan it is great to see a new follower with an appreciation for this. I saw them live on the Pulse Tour, and sat on the 18th row on the floor at the Alamodome in San Antonio with 47,000 fans! I was an experience of a lifetime. In the first half of the concert they played the entire album Dark Side of the Moon from start to finish, and then after intermission played most of the album The Division Bell plus more of their well-known songs. You might want to check out "High Hopes", also from this live Pulse tour. Again, loved your reaction and appreciation!!

Who even produces a musical stage show of this caliber today? This was produced decades ago! I'm so grateful I lived in an era where there was a mass explosion of creative artists who were free to make there own music and expressions. Some really great work became of their efforts.

Pink Floyd, ....Shook....Nice Reaction, very much enjoyed experiencing this with you. Any song from this epic concert is a good suggestion, but there's plenty to choose from with this band. The studio versions of these, "Marooned" , "Hey You", "Mother", "Time", Us and Them" are all epic, just to name a few. Live or studio are equally impressive with this group.

Welcome to the Pink Floyd experience kind Miss. I have been listening to PF since Animals, and they are not to be simply listened to, but experienced. Best way to hear this song (besides this OUTSTANDING performance here) is you MUST listen to their album The Wall in its entirety. Yes, in one sitting with no distractions. The album tells a story, so it must be heard from the beginning to the very end. You won’t ever be the same. I give you my word Kind Miss. I’m also a musician, I am learning guitar for now. But my music tastes are from the 70s to the 2000’s and vary widely. Be blessed Ma’am... Gryphon < 1 Corinthians 15 : 1-4

Not many people react to that giant ring as it decends over the top of David. Great special effect and all, don't get me wrong. But just how much do you trust your roadies to get that right?!? So that it doesn't come crashing down on you. Which only adds more to my admiration of David being able to concentrate on his playing while that thing looms overhead. Other comments I have seen about it, compares the ring to being God's eye getting a closer look at one of His gifted musicians displaying that gift and sharing it with the crowd.

Greatest concert ever. I was there in 1994 at their last performance in New Jersey. None of my buddies could go. I went last minute. Took the train and bus to get there. Bought a scalped ticket for $50 for a floor seat about 11 seats to the left of the giant ball in middle, under it. Had enough money for a pretzel and a hit of acid. Unforgettable time in my life. Had each seat to left and right empty. I was 24 and life couldn't be a better

React to any song from that concert, and you will get the same feeling. I'll recommend Learning to Fly next. But the biggest recommendation I'll make watch and react to the 2016 David Gilmour Live at Pompeii concert. David Gilmour was in his 50s for the Pulse concert. For the Pompeii concert he was in his 70s. The concert was with his own band and not Floyd, but he was as powerful as he was at Pulse.

Just knowing what's coming as he starts that final solo is enough to get me started. Loved seeing your reaction to it for the first time. It's almost one of disbelief. Albums like 'Dark side of the moon', 'The final cut' and 'The wall', 'Wish you were here' and 'Animals' are best appreciated as a whole album. If you like that, watch Pink Floyd Live at Pompeii, especially the First and Last Track Echoes Part 1 and Part 2. Then watch David Gilmour Live Remember that Night Playing the whole song in its entirety. That will show the essence of guitar greatness. Pompeii version was filmed (71-72) at Pompeii, Italy at an ancient amphitheater at the ruins of Pompeii. Remember that Night was filmed at the Royal Albert Hall in London. David will never play Echoes ever again, since Rick Wright died. Both of them harmonized and played off one another on that song. Echoes is the perfect song to chill out and get lost, and the only song that can top Comfortably Numb IMHO.

It was great to see your nonverbal reactions and I could tell that you were connecting to the music, and that the song had an impact on you (as it does us all!). If you like Pink Floyd as much as it seems, sadly there is only ONE WAY you're going to see their music "live" in concert other than an older dvd... more importantly done exacting to the studio albums adding a very good example of PF's light show. With that said, you may wanna check out this group that's IMO far better than a tribute band!! The song is the exact track you just reacted to performed by "Brit Floyd". ~ Gilmour, Mason and Wright have said, "If they themselves wanted to see PF live, the only way that could ever happen is go see these guys." =>> kzbin.info/www/bejne/iJ-rpmZ6bdinfac Pink Floyd was formed in 1965... their (most likely) last album was "The Endless River" in 2014. PF had 15 studio albums... 3 live albums, 9 compilation albums not to mention multiple live dvds and solo albums performed by below members of the band. Syd Barrett (short-lived founder; guitar plus) the originator and quirky eccentric; inevitably the consequential muse. * January 6, 1946 (rip 2006) Roger Waters (bass) was the cultivator (seed sower), the lyrically conceptual prodigy, secondary vocal and co-maestro of songwriting * September 6, 1943 (age 77 years) David Gilmour (guitar) was the placidity, guitar virtuoso, the silky smooth voice and co-maestro; the equilibrium. * March 6, 1946 (age 74 years) Richard Wright (keyboards) was the essential underlying symmetry; musical nurturer. * July 28, 1943 (rip 2008) Nick Mason (drums) was the heartbeat, structure and foundation; the sole member involved from the emergence of PF to the last recording. * January 27, 1944 (age 76 years) FYI: The following Pink Floyd albums are Concept Albums (all songs together tell a complete story)... Dark Side Of The Moon (1973), Wish You Were Here (1975), Animals (1977) and The Wall (1979); The Final Cut (1983) is a maybe, as it was the last album with Roger Waters being in the band. *search on Wiki the album title to get the story behind the concept. Final Note: These guys alone are musical mortals but collectively they were and are immortal!!! Who cares who was best member and or the basis for the conceptual artistry, genius and brilliance of Pink Floyd? They have left us the embodiment of their musical journey to share, enjoy and reflect upon. * always listen to Pink Floyd with headphones or an awesome sounding music system. en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Pink_Floyd

I may be biased as I got to see this tour in Vancouver, BC and there are no words to describe that experience. There are a few other live versions of songs that you need to check out. Led Zeppelin's "Stairway to Heaven" and "No Quarter", Eric Clapton's "Cocaine", The Doors "Who Do You Love?" would be a good start.

"Terminal Frost", "Dogs", "Sheep", "Wish You Were Here" just for starters.SubscribedPlease do "Terminal Frost" for me next video. I just turned 66 today and am a disabled Marine Corp veteran. Thank You, Sweetie!
