I honestly hope to enjoy more of you ladies explore the great musical journey of Pink Floyd. They are high art. Hi guys. I wish I was your age again and listening to this for the first time. You have just watched what has been widely regarded as the best guitar solo of all time. The story behind the song is the original bass guitarist and songwriter Roger Waters was feeling unable to perform before a concert in Philadelphia and a local doctor was called in and injected him with something to get him through the show. He wrote this about feeling comfortably numb throughout the show and cannot remember much of the show. A bit of trivia is that Pink Floyd's album Dark Side Of The Moon is the longest running album in in the Billboard Top 200 albums sitting at nearly 1000 weeks. That's nearly 20 years! The next album is about 500 weeks. The DSOTM album needs to listened to as a whole, as it tells a story where each song builds the story in sequence. You need to listen to it from start to finish. Have fun on your journey. ❤️

I’m 63, I’ve heard this so many times. Then I went to this concert. It was a totally new experience, you can’t explain what happened. You’re just like a zombie after that solo. You guys did an amazing job! For this old guy, seeing two young ladies have this reaction to one of the greatest bands ever nearly 50 years after the song was released is amazing. Nothing more needs to be said. Except. Thank you.

There is a world of difference between you nice young ladies and me, a much experienced old man. I was fortunate enough to be born in a time when this band (Pink Floyd) was developing and rising. Unfortunately, I never got the chance to see them live. I was familiar with this tune for years and I liked it. I finally got to see this performance for the first time about 25 years ago on VHS tape. Ya know, my reaction was very much like yours. The hair on my neck stood up. I sat forward in my chair. At the finale, I shed a small tear. I have watched it a thousand times now and still love every second of it.

I love the way you two girls were speechless at the end of the second guitar solo. Pink Floyd have been doing light shows since they began. The Pulse 1994 concert was one of the best performances I have ever witnessed. I am so glad you two were able to experience it and share your reaction with us. The look of wonderment on your faces gladdens my heart. I grew up listening to PF and that second guitar solo was probably the greatest in the history of rock. Thank you 🙏🏻 😄

1st time visitor...and my favourite reaction to this classic (I've seen them all, trust me)...the little one on the left, bless you, you reminded me of myself when I first heard this...falling into a trance by the spell being woven then at 12:40, caught like a fish by Gilmours guitar, the penny drops and at 14:08, the eyes rolled up and you were in heaven and looking like a Pink Floyd veteren (someone needs to buy you a guitar I think)...brilliant...and the smiling girl on the right, just wait when you hear High Hopes from the same concert, your tears will flow like a river, don't fight it, just let it blend into what you hear...thank you, loved the reaction...and oh yes...subscribed...enjoy the journey you two. God Bless

I'm inspired to see these two young ladies recognize the talent they see. So many do not have the understanding. Thanks for sharing this moment of your life with us. Pink Floyd might be the greatest live concert bands of all time. They are the predominant headphone band of all time. These 4 albums are the cream of the crop, you can argue about the order but this is how I list them 1. 'The Dark Side of the Moon' (1973) 2. 'Wish You Were Here' (1975) 3. 'The Wall' (1979) 4. 'Animals' (1977)

I was one of the lucky people that was at this specific concert ( Pulse ). I was actually at several of their concerts. That guitar solo was so epic that everyone in the audience was in awe. Even in the parking lot after the concert, we were still in awe from what we just experienced. It was an experience that I will never forget. All of their concerts were like that ( huge audiences ). David Gilmour ( lead guitarist ) has a way of making you feel so many emotions from his playing his guitar.. Every show they have done was always sold out in a matter of minutes ( literally ). I'd like to see you react to Shine on you crazy Diamond ( also by Pink Floyd ). There are a total of 9 parts to it. It is 25 minutes long. Just close your eyes and let the music take you on a journey. Here is a link to all 9 parts. It is a nature video, so if you want to watch, you can enjoy the scenery. But I suggest you close your eyes and enjoy the music. It is a true masterpiece. Pink Floyd has countless masterpieces to choose from. Here is the link I mentioned kzbin.info/www/bejne/nYC7hZd8l8-nick

When this band played in my hometown of Oslo (capital of), Norway back in the early 90's, their 2,5 hour show used approximately as much electricity as the whole city used in about 2 weeks! This band is one of the best, if not THE best rock band ever, IMO.
