The first time I heard Pink Floyd I was 8 years old, the year of 1973, my uncle had bought "Dark side of The Moon" on vinyl of course and we listened to the hole album without saying a word. After that experiense Pink Floyd became my all time favorit band. I have also been on two stadium-concerts , one of them was PULSE, and I still can remember the feeling, I havent had the same experience, even I have been at several big stadium-concerts with Metallica, Bruce Springsteen(x2), Stones, Queen was up there, but not quite.

Nice reaction. Some Pink Floyd/David songs are very slow and mellow, but they are never boring. There is always an intensity no matter the temp, because it makes you feel things that we all feel but don’t always have the music that connects us with that. David is performing this Fall, just in New York and LA (at least in the US). Tickets are still available on Stub Hub so if you can swing it to get to one of those shows, drop what you’re doing and get that ticket now. Likely the last chance we will have to see him perform.

Even though Gilmour isn't a Steve Vai or Satriani as far as range of technique and flavors, what chops he does have are wonderful. It's like he has this etherial sound and his simplistic playing is punctuated with a mature sensitivity in his bend work, to which he is a master. It's like you've died and are racing thru the clouds toward on your way home. It really feels like a sound from the other side.

Pink Floyd is the only band that hypnotizes me. They are in a category of their own. I started watching your reactions to different bands and I relived my first time listen to some songs through your reactions. cause you know, once you hear a song you can't unhear it. and each time you listen to it, althought is as good as ever, or even better and better, still it's not your first time listening to it anymore. And now, going through all your PF reactions I start loving them even more as I kind of relive the moments I started loving them. Don't know if it makes sense. It does for me :))) And what you said about the band in this video and about David I swear you were taking the words out of my mind. That's exactly how I always feel about Gilmour. It just takes over you and you are happy to be moved like a puppet. I never heard this solo and I was so happy to hear something new and long from him :)) You know, I heard many of David's solos, but I think I could have him solo me for an hour and it would be not enough. It's awesome to see someone else having the exact same feelings about this. How magical is music?

Polo…my name is Chad Randle. I had to comment not this song, but songs you have listened to on your Channel. You showed up in your recommended section of KZbin a while back and I have listened to almost of your videos. I love your setup, your voice, your reaction, the overall energy of you. Cool and smooth and such a great listener of so much music and I appreciate you and your videos. I’m a huge Pink Floyd fan. I am turning 49 this year. I discovered Pink Floyd from my sister when she would pout on the mood lighting and candles, inscense….and heard Dark Side of the moon from beginning to end..on vinyl when I was 10 years old. It still stands to this day as one of my all time favorite top music of all time. I have many artists and bands that are in that same light. I love all types of music genres, my ear gets attuned to some voices, guitar riffs, drums, etc. the mood. The groove. Friends, atmospheres, etc. I have a very wide selection of classic rock. Not too much in today’s time. My opinion is music today is a hard listen…I try to give artists chance, but the magic and feel of genuine instruments voices, not in an electric style, but real deal…..sorry..I’m rambling. I wanted to reach out and thank you for your videos, your channels. Most of what you say resonates and I agree with your critique of what you are listening to. You have put a smile on my face..especially when you listened to time. That’s my heart and soul…my theme song. Thank you! I haven’t seen any recents but I wanted to connect with you and awesome to watch you and I think you’re cool and smooth! I appreciate you! I feel a connection….lol thank you ….
